Re: A couple of rumours from today's Rugby Paper

Wildcard - bring in Austin Healey! Will certainly keep Cockers on his toes!

I am all for bringing new thinking so Aaron Mauger, Darryl Gibson would do me. They have been away from the club for a good while yet understand it.

Re: New Kit design - unveiled today

I think the current one is innovative and very differet. I would like to think that sums up Tigers. The new one is plain, boring and certainly does not differentiate from the normal rugby shirts. I hope this does not any new approach that Tigers maybe thinking of with imminent coaching changes! Seei...

Re: TV Next Year.................BT???

Finance pages of Sunday Telegraph stated that BT and Sky have failed to reach agreement on Sky being allowed to show premiership rugby in any form.
Given that BT have the worst customer service I won't be switching - still HC on Sky and Sky Atlantic!

Re: Fixture Changes

Don't worry, next season we will be wishing it was Sky. We have the pleasure of BT Vision and, going by their appalling customer service, we can expect KO times at even worse times than we get at present.

Great New Rugby Blog

I have just come across a very good new rugby blog. Very informative and giving good coverage of matches across the globe.
Didn't slate Barnes but gave a far more balanced view of last Saturdays game that the myopic Ackford who has thankfully retired!

Re: England v Scotland

Lets all be man enough to recognise excellence when we see it. Farrell had a superb game today and was 1 of 2 contenders for MOM. I think , as usual Brian Moore got it wrong though, Chris Robshaw was immese and certianly pipped Farrell to the award IMHO. Good performances from all Tigers and I thoug...

Micky Young

Reports suggest that Micky Young will be leaving Tigers at the end of this season - not sure if this is at Tigers instigation or the player's. Whatever, I do think that this would be a loss, IMO he is a better player than Harrison and poses more questions for defenders. Last Saturday we got a glimps...

Re: Tom Croft

Croft was kneed at a ruck - would be interesting to see if there was any malice in it. I agree that Price looked worse and no news - I noticed that the ambulance that sits at the Aylestone Rd end in the corner was not there at half-time.

Re: Another prop legend in the making?

Don't forget we also have Kieren Brookes who came on for the Saxons last night and acquitted himeself well be all accounts. We are blessed with young props, we just need to keep them.

May not go ahead anyway if the Falklands keeps getting ratcheted up due to the referendum in March.

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - 3rd v 4th!!!

Concerned that no mention of Tait in the squad, is he injured? If not I would have thought that a bench place would have been good as he can cover full back, wing & centre.

Re: Ford

As has been said - it's up to him and his advisors. What I do say is that Tigers have a record that is second to none in developing talent and that is worth an incalculable amount to a young player like Ford playing in such a key position as fly-half. Nothing better to develop your game playing with...

Re: Steeeeeeeve and Salvi sign up

Delighted to hear this news. I must admit I had worries about Steve moving to France but I think that this proves just how strong Tigers are in the player development stakes. Just hope that Parling and Ford recognise this or, more importantly, their agents!
