Re: Autumn Nations Cup
Billy player of the tournament, outstanding at times. Excellent cameos by Earl puts the Simmonds nonsense to bed once and for all! Pack is there or there abouts. 9,10,12,13 needs completely ripping up and starting again, one of F or F,not both and certainly not with Slade outside them. Nothing to wor...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup
For me Slade hasn’t played well for England since Ireland away 2 years ago. He offers nothing in the back line, other than gifting Wales a try last week.Scott1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:28 pmHe’s been poor for a long time, needs dropping!OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:27 pmIs Daly afraid of going in to contact? Re: 3 rounds in and what have we learned...
Forwards and defence have looked much improved than last season, against Exeter was always going to be tough. 1) I’m not worried by our scrum, we’re missing two class scrummagers in Genge and Gigena who will make a massive difference. Plus with De Bruin and Mamu, when everyone is back we’ll have a m...

Re: Tigers v Chiefs
Interesting Simmons gets the nod over the likes of Olowofela and SAR. Can’t see them being around for the following season, SB obviously had the players he does and doesn’t trust leftover from the previous era.

Re: McGinity off
Everyone knows recruitment is an all year round business, so who is doing the work now or are we planning on making no signings for the 21/22 season. A day, week or month out the recruitment game is a massive loss to the club.

Re: Mcginity off
Arguably the clubs best acquisition in the last few years is now leaving, he’s about one of the few people I had in faith in turning Tigers around...... don’t know what to think now.

Re: George Martin Updated
Very impressed by Martin, like Steward I could see him nailing down a role in the starting XV by the end of the season assuming he returns firing on all cylinders. I like Wells and Green, both are great club players but think we could do with some more quality in the second row department, something...

Re: Tigers v Chiefs
Come on people. You know the song, We learn every game. We take what we learn and try to improve. I see great things from the squad on the training field. They are 100% committed to the club. We need to get better and that will come with time. We are aiming to get to the very top where we belong. We...

Re: Tigers v Chiefs
Think this will be more about our performance than the result itself. Also expect some rotation, Liebenberg and Wiese could probably do with a rest. I’d like to see. Leatigaga Youngs Cole Wells Enever Brink Taufua Reffell Wigglesworth Bonilla Scott Taute Potter Steward Porter Kerr Bruin Heyes Lieben...

Re: London Irish Away
I think the most frustrating thing is yes both teams were poor, however we had a period in the second half when we should have gone on and won the game or at least secured a LBP. Yet we came away with nothing and hopefully lessons will be learnt. Agreed the backrow looks unbalanced without playing a...

Re: London Irish Away
Agreed Bonilla had a shocker, but he’s a good player and everyone is allowed an off day. Want to see him start against Exeter to see what he can do.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope
Have rated McGinty’s signings bar one.... Enever. Guy is supposed to be an international signing but he’s nowhere near the first team. What a waste of cap, we need players like him to step up when the internationals are away.

Re: London Irish Away
Most frustrating part is we had 20 minutes in the second half when we were on top, but just had a total inability to convert that dominance into points. Two missed kicks to touch absolutely killed us. Bonilla was awful coming on, he’s a better player than that. Liebenberg and Wiese again very good i...

Re: London Irish Away
Absolute rubbish, LI conceded 8 penalties in a row yet two missed kicks to touch and now we’re on the back foot again.

Re: London Irish Away
Time after time Irish haven’t been rolling away and slowing the ball down. Coupled with some rubbish calls from the ref and no wonder we’ve found it difficult to get some momentum going.
