More good news. Glos just beat Barf 22 - 21. Means we are third in the table. :smt041 :smt041 :smt041
Is this the first time we have been 3rd in the table for the first time in ages?

Yarde seems a done deal now with papers saying Julian Savea lined up as replacement following his fall from grace with the All Blacks
Excellent signing from Quins, however I do feel their problem at the moment is John Kingston

Rugby paper linking Steve Mafi to return to us and Tatafu Polota-Nau is expected to sign for us soon.
Maybe T Youngs is hanging his boots after this season?

Re: Tigers vs Falcons

A great away result, from the sounds of it disappointing we didn’t get a TBP but onwards and upwards, let’s see some players rested for next week’s AWC game against Glaws

Re: Tigers playing for England

If Daly is injured who does EJ replace him with. A Back 3 player, my pick would be Rokoduguni (Wade’s defence has been pathetic and nonexistent) or a centre like Joe Marchant who’s is the other form 13 in the country and definitely deserves his chance with England.

Re: Luke Hamilton

Itoje, Farrell, Kruis, George, Isiekwe all went through the Academy before being internationals, who do you mean nto playing for age-group sides and making a national debut at senior level

Re: Tigers vs Falcons

Thompstone is almost definitely wearing 23 this week I'd love to see Thacker given a go at 12. If this happens then Leicester will have to change their play style. We will see less long passes, and maybe a lot of decoy lines and having Tait as the first receiver. Matt O'Connor also mentioned Catchpo...

Re: Luke Hamilton

I'd fill the AWC side with younger blokes, time to sort out the wheat from the chaff! Players like Hamilton, and Genge, are an example of what can be found to develop. Some of the players here have been around for several years and done not nearly enough to warrant retaining over what you can poten...

Re: Luke Hamilton

Whilst I was impressed with Bailey when he played for Dev XV won't he be playing for Loughborough Uni at weekends? Isn't that his "primary" club unlike some of the Academy players who also play for Loughborough. Maybe I don't know all the details over the deal between Loughborough Uni and Tigers, m...

Re: Mid season break?

Or just don't extend the season and prevent a potential strike from players and bouts of controversy. If senior players/internationals want breaks then maybe the RFU should put a senior player limit on a AW Cup game and that's the period when a national squad member who isn't playing and other first...

Re: Mid season break?

Therefore that limits oppurtunities for developing players and and then they leave the academy and so no clubs will have anyone coming through and that will hurt the game domestically and in the national teams
