Facundo IsaIs out of contract
Would be a quality acquisition, can we afford him? I’m sure his Toulon wage is bigger than that we can afford him within the cap.

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

Fair enough I see your point, I just don’t see him being an effective no8 mainly because of size, it would only work with a bruizer at 6 or 4, with Skelton at 4 possibly but then Sarries like to utilise locks or breakdown operators at blindside.

Re: Falling crowds

It’s just the unfortunate truth in sport that people will sometimes only turn up if a team is winning, I don’t agree with it but I don’t call them out for it.

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

Reckon England and Sarries missed a trick not focusing Itoje at 6. I’d have liked to see Itoje at 8, but sadly, unlikely to happen. I’m not sure if you’re joking, if you’re not explain why you see Itoje as an 8, he’s got a good handoff and is athletic but is surely too tall to be an 8, of course th...

I have always said we need a big back three player like when we had Alesana or Goneva, if that has to be achieved at the expense of May, so be it we have Holmes and Veainu and a berry good player in Browning coming up.

Re: Mark Bakewell - gone? (Rumour)

Bakewell had an immediate impact when joining the club which has been been explained as a “dead cat’s bounce”, I have the impression his methods were good but sort of like Eddie Jones the effects were always going to be temporary. Under his tutelage, the lineout has been very inconsistent, and our d...

Re: Kyle Eastmond

Unfortunately for Eastmond, his leg injuries (mainly his calf I believe) have meant he has never really been able to string together appearances and whilst has offered moments of his brilliance he has been nowhere his 14/15 form for Bath.

Even if Youngs is to be kept he should be on the one taking the paycut not May.

Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

Sinckler to Bristol apparently very likely, they are also after two big names for loosehead and flyhalf, RIL of course reckons it’s Genge and Ford, I can’t see that happening. Not if Sinckler is coming as well.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2

“Apparent contribution behind-the-scenes” means having the Board’s ear, wanting Matt O’Connor then Murphy so that he and others can get their way, I said “apparent” because I have no way of knowing if it’s completely true. Even if it isn’t, the rumours of such could be enough to dissuade other teams...
