Re: Mr Maxwell-keyes

The lack of intervention from assistant refs is also appalling and really needs to be addressed by the RFU, they are perfectly in their rights to intervene or tell Maxwell-Keyes to check TMO

Re: The Lineout

I went to the Tigers scrum coaching clinic and Stankovich taught me how to jump in the lineout, surely he could he able to take over Blaze in a temporary period.

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

Great opportunity for Harry Wells and Joe Maksymiw - and may just be smart to not partner them with an experienced lock (as well as forced by injury!) Surprised though that Croft isn't there to lead the lineout so - who will do it? Hamilton, Williams or Wells. This is probably not going to happen b...

Re: 5 Reasons To Be Positive

I don't miss Lachlan at all, he would have been fine if we had an Ardie Savea or Steffon Armitage at 7 but he just wasn't what we need in a back rower and he went crazy in the Anglo-Welsh cup trying to chip overy the top and stuff to prove his worth. I hope he does well elsewhere but he just wasn't ...

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

I'm surprised people aren't mentioning the most obvious option (assuming BOC and Ryan are out) - bringing in Croft at 7. He's played there a lot, and adds lineout expertise while allowing us to have Hamilton and Kalamafoni as big bruisers at 6 and 8. Something like this works for me (assuming Young...

Re: Who is out there and available?

We should recruit someone from the Southern Hemisphere as an injury replacement as they aren't currently isn't playing rugby at the moment, Rohan Janse van Rensburg is a very good centre who was left out of SA squad because of initial injury.

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

In the Mercury it seemed to me O'Connor rated Owen and I think we will see him more when he returns from a back niggle which is y we didn't see him in preseason

Re: Leicester Tigers 2017/18 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread!

Here's a big up and coming No8 that will be cheap I think. South Africa's Juarno Augustus was the 2017 World U20 top try scorer and possesses that gainline ability. He currently plays for the Western Province in currie cup

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

I think we should play Hamilton at 7 and Will Evans at 6, at 7 Hamilton can help Ford with tackling an on rushing Ben Morgan/Ruan Ackermann from the scrum. With Evans at 6 he still gives the breakdown quality we need. The Lions deployed a similar tactic with Sean O'Brien at 7 and Sam Warburton at 6 ...
