Re: Geordan Murphy
As a player and ambassador for our club, he was up there with the very best. Superb athlete, club man etc. However, I don't think that there are many on here that would argue that he has done very little over the recent past to justify his move through the ranks; Promoted to Skills Coach (due to bei...

Re: Now playing at Mattioli Woods Welford Rd
Been thinking about this today. Can anyone with a commercial background enlighten me as to how much naming rights would be worth to the club? Whilst financially we’re not in the same league as football, naming rights for football stadia can be astronomical. If, as rumoured, we’re bleeding 1MIL a mon...

Completely off topic, but am keen to consign the last 12months on field performances to the memory bin. Joe Browning. Anyone else disappointed not to have seen any of him during the post lockdown period? From the (albeit few) minutes I’ve seen of him in both development and 7s, he looks absolutely r...

Manu, torn Achilles, out for six months.
Thats the flip side I'm afraid. Despite everything, wish him the best with his recovery.

Based on Murphys comments today you’d think that could be the end for Hardwick and Jordan O. Haven’t both recently signed extensions?
Would think those two, added to Coghlan and McPhillips, would be deemed surplus to requirements moving forward.

Tin hat on. Don’t think the ref himself has had that bad a half. Lack of any TMO intervention on the other hand...
Problem once again is the lack of any go forward game plan. Oh. And the 47 missed tackles

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20
Van Wyk is a finisher, if we leave him out on the wing whilst we aimlessly kick the ball in the air then we’re not going to see much of him. He’s not someone who is going to pop up in open play and cut teams open ala Veainu.

Actually, tell you someone else I’ve been pretty happy with the last 2 games... Charlie Clare. Hits his man at line out time and gets around really well. Well stocked at 2

Re: London Irish
Really impressed with Reffell and Steward. Great to see the youth getting a proper go, and taking their chances. Williams looks like he could be a useful backup to have around too. Got to say the lack of a game plan in the backs is still a major concern. 2nd half especially we looked blank after 4 o...

Re: Team for Exeter
Agree with most of what’s already been written. First 30mins in particular the forwards seemed to know their job and pushed Exeter physically. Like the look of Scott, nothing overly flashy but did very little wrong and was really strong in defence. With centre being a mess over the last few years ho...

Think the clubs hand was forced with announcing it today, seeing as the Cheetahs put it out there for all to see. Wouldn't be expecting any more today personally.

Happy enough with that, always rated Wallace, especially his work at the breakdown. Little surprised, based on his profile (age, skillset etc), that we didn't just decide to keep Guy Thompson?
