Re: George Clancy
ABClub, Great post, totally correct, to many one eyed posters on here. Agreed. The worst offenders for me are the preemptive whingers; the ones who as soon as they find out who will be officiating at the next match post something along the lines of “Oh, him...we’ll be playing against 16, he always ...
"Anti-Fordists!" Hmm. You mean critics, methinks. I am not an ardent supporter of GF, and we supporters see some things in a different light to one another. That is our right, and has and will, always be the case. There are some posters, and one in particular, who seem to wear rose tinted g...
Absolutely - we’d probably be in the relegation spot now if it wasn’t for GF. I’m mystified as to the reason...

Re: George Ford
Completely agree about being slow to the breakdown, our backrow hasn’t turned up yet this season (BOC aside). Guy Thompson? Guy Thompson has been a good player for us, big tackles and physical with the ball in hand, as has Denton in all fairness. But as I said we’ve struggled at the breakdown and i...

Re: cheer ourselves up - Racing v Tigers
Embarassment at tackling and defence time again. As usual put our selves in with a chance and we blow it yet again. Sadly we are a major spent force in Europe. Is GM the option for success.... Maybe not tbh. Well, if that’s your take on the best performance of the season...you’re not going to be th...

Re: Bristol v Tigers
Would be very unusual for a player who has been out as long as Genge has come straight back into a starting 15. I suspect it’s much more likely he’ll start on the bench and have 15 mins at the end. If all goes well, maybe 25mins from the bench in Paris, and the starting 15 when Racing come to WR on ...

Re: Sour grapes from Burgess?
I hate when people tell half the story. You either tell the full story or keep your mouth shut until you are ready to tell the whole thing. Yes, but who would buy your book if you told the whole story for free? No and I still won't buy it anyway. If I read a book, it's about someone that interests ...

Re: Sour grapes from Burgess?
Burgess went tits up because Bath saw him as a flanker, whilst England saw him as a centre. Still not sure why he was fast-tracked as a centre when he didn't play in that position for his club. English obsession with having a ‘bish-bash-bosh’ centre, perhaps? It’s a great option to have if it’s the...

Re: Errors?
It’s pretty clear GM is keen to build the club by bringing through Academy talent - and I for one am happy to see that happen. However, I am enough of a realist to understand that we are not going to win trophies any time soon....it will probably take 3-5 years. I’m not sure if the Board will have e...

Re: Season ticket price increase question
Increasing prices would be a risk at a point when the team is hardly setting the world on fire and attendance are falling (not sure if this is actually the case, but is certainly my impression). I’m considering cancelling my ticket for next season - I’m not giving up on Tigers, but the season ticket...

Re: Premiership Rugby Cup - Tigers vs Sharks
Not sure why people keep mentioning Joe Ford, he was on for a short time and I didn't see him do anything wrong, he is our third /fourth choice at 10 what do you expect from him?. Olowfela is a fine prospect but he does need to practice under the high ball and I think he needs to be more aggressive...

Re: Premiership Rugby Cup - Tigers vs Worcester
Schonert doesn't want to scrummage and is pulling Gigena down at every scrum but Sir, who has been pretty awful all round, seems to be seeing something very different to the rest of us. Pleased I wasn't the only one thinking that today. You're being kind saying he was pretty awful, not responsible ...
