Re: Boring Sarries, boring Exeter

Seems to be plenty of jealousy towards Sarries in particular but also a bit towards Exeter. I think England would be in serious trouble without Sarries professionalism in development. You don't hear the same moans when the All Blacks pick and go or when the Springboks kick chase. The top two in the ...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...three week ban!

Nowhere has it been stated that he swore at the official and only those that were present will know. You can abuse an official with anger and rage without swearing or make insinuating comments. Whatever was said has been included in the match report and a disciplinary hearing was set up. Murphy has...

Re: Boring Sarries, boring Exeter

UnlikeTigers, both these sides know when a passage of play has run its course, so they kick, but importantly to compete rather than give the ball back to their opponents. How many times did they get possession vs Glos from 50/50 challenges n the air, or the loose ball. The Tompkins final try was so...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...three week ban!

Few would condone abusive behaviour but it can't be denied that there is a lot of frustration with the TMO system up and down the country as it is occasionally getting things badly wrong. It's often black and white where sometimes common sense is grey. At least when it was just the referee the decis...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...three week ban!

Possibly time to bring in another TMO to check the first TMO, if it's a draw the ref gets the deciding vote.
They could even have golden buzzers that light up in the stadium.
Specsavers could sponsor a T.V ad break whilst it's all going on.
Numpties!

There a number of quality sides in the Challenge Cup next season. I currently do not envisage us winning it, especially if we don't bring in decent coaches.
Umm I wonder if we get Edinburgh in our pool :axe: ?
That would be awesome and possibly a sell out!

Re: Spencer and White for England

It's only a skill if you manage to pull it off ,jeez! Goode is a fantastic club player who fails in an International shirt, and who mentioned Koch?? That's funny as I thought he'd just won the European Cup again and played very well. I mentioned Koch, it's relevant by comparison to your cockeyed vie...

Re: Spencer and White for England

Regardless,I'm glad Eddie sees it the same as me so I don't have to have kittens when Alex tries his stupid hitchkick or goose step and inevitably gets caught and smashed backwards,I remember even Adam Jones catching him in one 6N :smt005 Standard English (or idiot Aussie) view, and then you are on...

Really? Well it must have been the very odd time because I can't remember them. It was a common reoccurring theme with Goode.

Re: Spencer and White for England

In contact? Not really. I'm not classing turning over ball from poor kick return just bona fide turnovers through carrying ball into contact. Goode would never beat his man at the top level and unlike Brown wasnt strong enough to make yards and present the ball well. People say Brown died with the ...

It's just called using my eyes and seeing his poor work under the high ball, his weak defending and the fact that I've never saw an international back get turned over as much!
All England's backs have been prone to getting turned over, thats part of a wider team issue.

I wouldn't have Goode anywhere near my England 23!
McCall seems to rate him enough to play him at full back even with Liam Williams amongst his squad and they have won some silverware together!

Re: Spencer and White for England

Am I missing something but whilst the Sarries side is clearly good enough to be European champions I wouldn't have thought that their props were their strongest attribute, nor for that matter scrummaging. It’s better than what it was last season, but I think having the likes of Vunipola and Skelton...
