Re: Happy clappers confession thread

What would Cockers being sacked achieve? Zero or minus - the Head Coach would still be presiding over it all. Either they fix it or at a minimum, Mauger goes and probably Cockers gets kicked upstairs. May be, if the conjecture on here is to be believed, we need a new DOR to bang Cockers and Maugers...

Of course he would. What top rugby player wouldn't prostrate himself at the feet of the omniscient Cockers.

Re: Glasgow Warriors trip

So what if it rains that doesn't mean wr will lose, it's the same playing conditions for both sides and as for the travelling fans like myself well there's always the good old brolly which in my case is a Tigers branded golf umbrella. Bet you're popular with those behind :smt023 Without a doubt. :s...

Re: Happy Clappers v Doom Mongers

I do not see this changing anytime soon, as long as us supporters continue to buy tickets, merchandise, Food & Drink etc, the fact that we are no longer the force we were is clearly not detrimental to the balance sheet. Interesting so you are advocating not going to the games and not buying Tigers ...

Re: Leicester - the 'friendly' team????

"And Richard Cockerill was really quite friendly at the end of a third concession of 30 points already this season" No idea what you are banging on about here. In what way was he friendly? Who was he friendly to? Should he have gone into the Sale clubhouse and trashed the joint? How does it go? Foo...

Re: Leicester - the 'friendly' team????

The board are too friendly with too many employees. A family culture is one thing, constantly sticking together when something needs to be done is another. No trophies for three years? Is that good enough? Making the playoffs is a step towards winning the competition, not an end in itself, which is...

Re: Worcester Warriors at Welford Road

Part of the fall out of the performance at Sale is the importance of an authoritative performance against Worcester. Hence it makes selection a little more tricky. Do you rest a few and risk another in and out performance. Do you stick out a strong starting XV to try to put the game to bed early so...

Re: A Team and Thacker star at Sale

Surely after Monday's A Team win v Sale Thacker must be in the squad v Worcester. Tigers through and through and could be as good,if not better than Sarries Britz, and we all know what he can do as we witnessed in the second Twickers' final meeting and at other times in the league against us. Long ...

Re: Ashton gets 13 week ban

I'm sorry to bring this back to the top of the forum but I couldn't resist this from ESPN: "Once it had been decided the level of offence was low end, with a guideline ban of 12 weeks, an extra week was added due to Ashton's previous two suspensions for hair pulling and making contact with eyes. Re: Simon Cohen's well chosen words ..............again

After twenty years of professional rugby the well funded Bath still do not have a proper ground, were they to be relegated it is debateable whether they would meet the criteria for promotion back to the Premiership. Saracens despite the forty odd million debt are actually developing a business and ...

Re: Pub Recommendations for pre/post match.

Jesus Noddy, give it a rest about that damn Try Line Club. Are you on commission if you mention it enough? I've tried it. It's rubbish. Sterile atmosphere, lousy seats behind the goal, overpriced pub standard food presented in a pretentious manner. It costs £600 more than my season ticket for a wor...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non Tigers 2016/17

David Wilson has left Bath for Newcastle. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/37443137 Perhaps he likes the idea of a plastic pitch? That is a good signing for them...wondered why he had fallen out of favour with Bath but has had a few injuries and they have Thomas and KPN.. Disagree. The pictur...
