Re: Exeter Chiefs
Who would have believed it. A team with an organised and powerful pack challenging for the title perhaps. Good job we gave that up and went for slinging the ball around

Re: Maxine Mermoz in The Rugby Paper
No love lost with Mike Ford it seems. I hope his signing for Newcastle and not Tigers isn't a portent as to who our next DoR may be.

Re: Owen Farrell
Big fan. He is and will remain a hugely influential player for England, perhaps the most influential. I'd have him at Tigers in an instant

Re: Where were you?
I fail to see any merit in this thread. Suppositions and predictions stated as if they were facts

Re: We could get second place
So obvious that you haven't even mentioned it before
Why is the thread not 'We could win the premiership' rather than we could get 2nd place. Bit pessimistic for you ellis9.

Re: We could get second place
So we could get 4th or even 2nd place but as yet nobody has suggested we could win the title. Unlikely but what a season's turn around that would be.

Re: Where were you?
Non issue for me. If the ko time doesn't suit some and they don't attend then that will be reflected in the stats. If the stats favour a 3pm Sat ko than for those with an issue with that time thats their problem

Re: Where were you?
Whilst there are conflicting activities for a 3pm Sat ko there are also inhibitors for an evening ko with public transport difficulties potentially limiting support to those within reasonable local access or prepared to incur overnight accommodation costs.

Re: Aftermath - Win v Bristol
JPPs try started by T was amazing. What footwork and pace from T and great work by BOC to get on his shoulder for the pass and the subsequent support from OW and JPP. Watched the match and highlights on premiership rugby web site and watched it over and over and it makes me smile. A thing of beauty.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
As we have the England 9 & 10 next year perhaps we could sign the current England 12 just to complete the set. Handy for goal kicking too.

Re: Times report Ford on his way to Tigers
I shall be sad to see Freddie leave, he has been a real Tiger in his time with us. However I see securing the current England half back pairing as a real statement of intent by the club. Welcome back George.

Our recent history would seem to indicate he may be good for 2 or 3 games a season with our luck
