Re: World Cup Refereeing
The commentators applauded the tackle on Vunipola, no mention of it being a shoulder charge with no arms so it is not just the refs who seem to be able to turn a blind eye

Re: Kiwi hypocrites strike again!
I have always thought that the oposition should just carry on with warm up drill etc and ignore the Haka, it has nothing to do with rugby and is just part of All Black brand recognition, AKA money!

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million
As our friends across the pond will tell you, money talks, the question is who is it talking to? We have endured several seasons of mediocrity all in the name ''of balancing the books and building for a long term sustainable future'', what has changed? Will the money buy better training facilities? ...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...three week ban!
The real questions are, why poor refs who spoiled many a game allowed to move on to be TMO's and the combination of a known poor TMO with a known weak ref is allowed to occour. GM was wrong to voice his frustration but given all we have suffered from the officials this year I understand it, he will ...

Toomua, who was he? I have forgotten him already, along with a few others that have been wasting the space inside Tigers shirts this season!

Re: Folau
Free speech is censored by tyrants, not the easily offended. Folau had been warned by his employer, got sacked. That's what actually happened. You are partialy correct, tryants is an expression open to interpretation I think the easily offended brigate are also tyrants though petty tyrants fit them ...

Re: Folau
The easily offended brigade try to censor free speech, they forget that free speach alows us to hear what idiots say and to mark down that the person is a idiot, curb free speech and the idiots remain hidden, banning all idiots from Rugby will leave a lot of teamsheets underpopulated! Why anyone lis...

Re: Toomua
The Toomua saga shows no one in a good light but let us not lay all the blame at his door, we have suffered for having our good players away with England and the loss of form or injury of a most of the rest. We have not had a settled squad the whole season, so we are doubly disadvantaged. Newcastle ...

Re: Relegation / How to avoid Relegation?
Captaincy now is the biggest issue, Tom Youngs is a special player and person but has not been a success as a captain and he is no longer a very good hooker. We need and all season have needed someone who is not afraid of getting in the ear of the ref and cuffing underperforming players, as TY is at...

Re: Cockerill - blame the hierarchy
I would be nice to know the personel and the process involved in getting rid of RC and appointing MOC.
There seems to be a total lack of accountabilty at the top of the club, that is not to say there is no ability or commitment just a lack of accountability and focus!

Re: Ben Youngs
Ben Youngs is half the player for Tigers than for England, IMHO That said I am proud he is a Tigers player and are lucky to have him on our books. The reasons he plays better (most of the time ) for England may be motivation, tactics, personel or just he is on a different training cycle to his tiger...

Re: ARE THERE ANY LAWS IN THE GAME THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?
Only three really 1- Equip every ref with one of those electric shock dog training collars, each time the defending team is offside at a ruck the ref gets a jolt if he does not award the attacking team a penalty ( each team nominates a coach to press the jolt buton, but if replay shows they were wro...

4 players killed France this year
I have just read that 4 players have died on the rugby fields of France in the past year, anyone who has seen the bemoths that are playing over here (France) should not be surprised at the figure. To me this is the law of unitended outcomes at work, getting rid of rucking released a lot of big men f...

Re: Scarlets and Ospreys
The WRFU are totaly inept and make our RFU look almost competent, cutting the rugby connnections to these two regions is just daft, I suppose as long as they fill the Pricipality Stadium with the equivilent of the prawn sandwich brigade, they just do not care about the club supporters at all.

Well done Joe Ford!!
I think after all the stick Joe Ford has recieved on here for the past couple of seasons he deserves a hearty thank you for his stint on Saturday. He has had the uneviable task of playing in a sticking plaster back line with a powder puff pack going backwards for most games he has played in so has n...
