Re: European finals 2020
Some very selective memories here, or maybe people remember but pretend things were not as they were but as they wished them to be. This message board was bristling with comments during Cockers term lamenting the lack of flair the boring forward play, winning was not enough, no we wanted flair, styl...

Re: Rugby And all sports’ fans matter!
The farce of the Sale situation has undermined any claims of Rugby administrators being competent to run a whelk stall let alone to manage a crowd of fans! Sorry but as Rugby continued to shoot itself in both feet by allowing the game to become a rich man's toy, allowing cheats to prosper, allowing ...

Re: Tigers vs Quins - 04 Oct 20 15:00
We also won one more game last season so technically if you were to simplify it,if anything we have gone backwards! Scott, yet again you go looking for the negatives....this season cannot be compared to last seasons. The fight to stay up this season was not an issue given Saracens transgressions. I...

Re: Clubs on the brink
Why is the government to blame for the state of Rugby finances? The rich owners who have financed this explosion in player wages with no thought for a sustainable financial structure are to blame, they have put the clubs into hock for their own personal aggrandisement, Covid 19 is only the catalyst ...

Re: Clubs on the brink
What is the purpose of professional club rugby in England? If anyone knows please let the rest of us in on it because from where I am watching it is being driven up a very dark alley to no ones benefit but the ego's of rich men! Clubs like Sale rent half the SA team to play in front of no one ( in n...

Re: Romain Poite
Is one of the symptoms of Covid 19 an increase in randomness of decisions?
I watched the game and though as well as the coughing he was very off in decision making, even more than is normal for him!

Re: European competitions
Believe this one is a bridge too far for Sarries. Part of me would like to see them get through , but just can't see it. Leinster will be a tough nut to crack for anyone in this competition . Part of me wants to see them to lose by 50 and to never be seen in any rugby competition again, the other p...

Re: A question.
By now we should be able to test every NHS workers, care workers and teachers as they arrive at work every day (or by daily home testing) this should be a minimum. There seems to be a lack of focus and headless chickens behaviour seems to be he order of the day but forgoing a few tests for sports te...

Re: Puzzled - Saracens!
It ain't necessarily so... To say that an omission (general) can be regarded as an error (general) is patently false. Some omissions may be errors in the same way that some You are presuming to know which is which as a starting point, if information is not passed from A to B, how can B or C tell if...

Re: Puzzled - Saracens!
I would posit that an omission can be regarded as an error, the fact that something is deliberately omitted does not preclude it from being erroneous and and error can be an error of omission!

Re: Puzzled - Saracens!
Regarding removal of the titles, that should have been easy, the silverware should have been returned and the record books amended to record that there was no winner that year and the reason, the title could not be awarded to anyone because there are to many variables and most clubs would not be in...

Re: Gloucester vs. Tigers - Sun 30 Aug 20 (1630)
I side with Austin here, we seem to be conceding games at selection time, I think the LI game was the one for the youngsters and Glouster :smt011 - Bath the games to try to see where we really are. I think the coaches are chickening out, a full blooded Tigers first 15 against any other team they wou...
