No full match replays on the Aviva website

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, the last few seasons the Aviva site has carried full match replays a few days after the match, now only highlight are available. Does anyone know the reason for this as I cannot see that is is costing live viewing figures and the sponsors were getting ex...

Re: Warren Gatland Lions Coach.

Wales had an outstanding crop of players, who we were all lucky enough to witness, other Welsh players benefited from the reflected aura of greatness that these players carried, however that era is passing into memory and the current crop are not a patch on that generation. England now have a wealth ...

Re: Is this year pivotal for Cockers?

Every season gets harder for Tigers and Cockers to succeed, they have the burden of balancing the books and generating income to develop the ground. This is the reality of the situation. I assume the board will be taking a long term view, while some clubs are running huge deficits or being bankrolle...

Re: Late night disturbance

My goodness, some on here have a good head for heights, the horses that they are perched on are mighty indeed. Maybe it is not the incidence itself that propels them but the chance to enlarge it and make it smell a bit in the hope that some damage will attach itself to the DOR, I may be mistaken but...

Re: An evening with Cockers

No such thing as a free meal, nothing in this life is free, anything free is not worth what you will have to pay in the end, etc, etc, Some on here just like to complain, if it was free they will moan it should have come with a free goody bag. This forum may be the only place they still have an audi...

Re: Marler seeking psychological help

Sorry but do Hairyqueens not employ sports psychologist already to help channel aggression in the right direction? I assumed all the top teams would. Slightly off topic but the reduction in his ban for kicking an opponent in the head does not make any sense to me, he was allegedly subject to 'the fo...

Re: salary cap cheats

The RFU are guardians of the good name of Rugby Union, ( I know, I know but in theory OK) The RFU could have instigated a charge of bringing the game into disrepute against Premiership Rugby, or at least threatened it for the perceived connivance in covering up industrial scale cheating. Small infra...

Re: Club Rugby

Rugby has allowed itself to become the plaything of the megga rich, just like football, Sarries much trumpeted youth policy has never come under objective scrutiny. How are they able to attract such a depth of young talent, is it just good scouting or is the cheque book being waved about at this ear...

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.

I'm not convinced either Cole or Ayerza are anywhere near their best. I don't know if it's simply a drop in form, or because they're past their sell-by-date. Could be a bit of both, probably more the latter. I'm not entirely sure that Thacker isn't 1st choice hooker now either, he'd certainly give O...

Re: Tigers v Stade Team.

A great game, Nigel was on our case all game and allowed them much greater leniency than us, a good ref none the less.
Was it just me or did he sound like he got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Re: This weekends other games

[quotIt baffles me what game you are watching Ellis. For the first try Farrell runs a lovely blindside line in a switch with Ashton, takes a double tackle from Joseph and Aguilla and offloads in the tackle out the back of his right hand to Bosch. its superb and directly leads directly to the try. Fo...

Retro Deano shirt, would it have a rugby ball sewn up the front, they would have to double the amount of material and the cost would be astronomical.

Re: Flankers

My point about Thacker, I was under the impression he was on the books as Flanker / Hooker, with the behemoths inhabiting the front row nowadays he cannot play hooker without compromising the whole scrum. I have never seen him play flanker but being too small to play no6 or 8 that leaves No7, but No...
