The main issues to explain are why when the refs appointment was pointed out to European Rugby as being clearly not a neutral appointment it was not changed.
So who made the appointment, who refused to change it

Re: I am really disappointed in the club
Oh my! what a narrow minded lot there is on here now, I am glad the contributors are not representative of the majority of the Tigers fans, shame on some of you and shame on the club for refusing, other clubs have managed to find the time and recourses to contribute good for them, they show Tigers u...

Re: Scrum formation
I do not know if there is a law on the formation of the scrum, I do remember the hand of back incident was only possible because Back had moved up the scrum to help Garforth who was being illegally turned in by the Claw, being in a position to rob the ball was a happy by-product, so in that scrum we...

Re: Belgium v Spain
Having seen the highlights, the ref gave the appearance of being even more one eyed than Steve Lander, I hope it was pure incompetence not bias, the result should not stand and the IRB should investigate the appointment of the officials, at the same time sanctioning the whole Spanish squad. This epi...

Re: A nice article about Harry Ellis
A top player for Tigers, badly let down by being played when seriously injured, when rest and good treatment may have prolonged his career.

Re: Ryan Wilson gets off?
There is absolute consistency, Celtic league players innocent or lesser sentences despite the evidence, English or French players guilty with hefty sentences even if there is no evidence. Remember Cozza being banned after Julian White had been accused, when they realised it could not possibly have ...

Re: Line out cheating
Thanks for the offer but I will carry on watching Rugby, the the ref should say no and award a free kick to the opposition problem solved, it need not become a penalty fest, that is the point of a penalty, to deter offending as well as punishing the offence, that is where some people who do not und...

Re: Tackle in the air
Malouf to the letter of the law should have been carded but was saved by the partially sighted man with the whistle with his inconsistent incompetence, but that is another thread! Not at all. The player landed on one foot but was unbalanced and fell on to his back. Had he landed on his back directl...

Re: Line out cheating
My understanding is that the ball must go down the channel between the two lines. Once the lines form the mark is no longer the critical point and the ball can come in from any point between them. Being a meter apart makes it easier for the hooker to step towards his siderite give an advantage. All...

Line out cheating
Am I alone in noticing a tactic that is becoming more pronounced, namely the hooker shuffling along the touchline until he is lined up with his own payers. The ball should be thrown in at the mark where the ball went out of play, then the players form up at 90 deg to the touchline 1 mtr either side ...
