Re: Autumn Internationals

Rugby will continue to leave a bitter taste in the mouth until these instances are clarified...the fact we can have such two high profile matches decided by decisions which almost everyone is 50/50 on just isn't good for the game. In the instance like we saw against Nz I would like to see the rule b...

Re: New study comparing rugby headguards

The study is a complete farce....dropping a doll with or without a headguard is an absurd study and I can't believe they have published it with drop tests as a guide of whether the impact is lesser It is widely known that this has little material impact in the kind of collisions that cause brain inj...

Re: Autumn Internationals

Billy Vunipola has broken his arm - the other one this time. He'll undergo surgery tomorrow and will be out for 12 weeks. With Simmonds injured and Hughes facing a ban - what price Ben Morgan (MoM yesterday)? Things are really looking bleak for the England back row...Maybe Kvesic at 8 perhaps or Me...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

Whilst yes we may bring in an Etzebeth type player in the marquee spot, we’d still have to find room in the budget to then replace Tuilagi or Toomua. If Tuilagi goes that frees up a sizeable amount of cap. The whole Tuilagi contract is such a difficult one...he obviously wants another payday as he ...

Re: Saints v Tigers

Tigers are on a hiding to nothing this game...the emotion in the Saints camp will be at fever pitch for poor old Rob Horne

I really hate wet weather rugby...completely ruins the game (unless playing it as sliding around in the mud is great fun)

If you want a big hard-woking lock that plays 5 and 6 (in South Africa that’s 7), PS. du Toit would be an excellent replacement for Fitzgerald.
An excellent replacement that would probably be twice the cost :smt017

He would be a huge upgrade not replacement

Re: Tigers to be crowned Premiership Champions?

This is the most ellis9 thread ever...however I for one like his optimism, really hoping Murphy can bring the passion out this year after already having unleashed our backs

I thought it would never happen but it does seem like Manu is coming back to be the Manu he has in him

Re: Racing Away 09/12/18

Hi there, great choice for a first time their stadium looks amazing. Trying to go myself but due to flight times and work commitments don't think I can make it happen. Hope you get the info you need, I think they release tickets a month or so before the game but to be honest I don't know with the Fr...

I must say I am excited to see what a Murphy picked team looks like...whether it will be the same (in names at least) or perhaps we could see holmes for instance...

Re: Supporters forum tonight

Good work ellis :smt023 Must say I think we need to get rid of Cohen and Glynn, the continued failure on their part is clear yet obviously with no one person in charge to get rid of these people seems very arduous. If you look at Glynn's cv how he has got himself into this position is pretty astound...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part Deux

England have a lot of teams playing in their top division so our very best ball players are normally slotted in to the 10 shirt. If England had say 4 teams playing in a top league like they do in the SH then we would probably see more of our skilful ball players coming through in the 12 shirt. This...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part Deux

Very interested to see what Eastmond can bring in a Tigers shirt. Ford, Eastmond, Manu whilst great going forward could easily leak more than they score is my only worry. I will judge Eastmond by his performances up to Christmas but Toomua going is a real heart breaker. Just goes to show you can nev...

Re: New kits for next season

It was billed as that but was very poorly made with a white collar...until we get a decent company to make them they will always be substandard :smt012

But to give Kurki their dues these look well made it is just the classic home I find disappointing...the main kits look pretty good!

Re: New kits for next season

Ah well looks like another year I won't be buying a classic shirt...playing one doesn't look too bad though Why can't they realise we just want this https://www.premiershiprugby.com/news/tigers-launch-new-look-home-kit/ I moan everytime this year like a broken record but I really just want to buy a ...
