Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

The attendance at Exeter and Worcester prior to them being promoted to the Premiership was not great, fans arrive with success as do visiting supporters. Being in the Premiership creates investment opportunities that are not available to the lower leagues. Ground capacity is a problem but with perf...

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

[Yet I’d prefer to have any of the current Championship clubs in the Premiership over Saracens. Yes but that is irrational and pure spite. Also, attendance is irrelevant. So long as the stadium is “big enough” the attendance can be 100, for example. I was looking at the comparable attendance. Sarri...

They can ground share.
Some of them could, many couldn't. And as we've seen with other examples ground share's can be difficult.

And there are other reasons why it wouldn't work for some. Just go through the list and figure it out.

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

Sarries do not have a large enough ground capacity without temporary stands or rebuilding neither do they have a big enough fan base either so realistically they should have to be re-assessed for suitability before being allowed to return. They have an adequate ground for their general needs and pl...

Re: England v Italy - 13th Feb at 14:15

I didn't see Italy v France game. Any rays of hope for the Italians?

I think it's unfortunate for them that England will now have a point to prove and ground to make up.

Re: Michael Fatialofa - Hospital Fees

If you read back it's a complex situation. I could be wrong but I don't think this is just on Worcester.

I understand though that he's probably exasperated and having to take public and desperate measures to get it resolved.

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

I understand the broadcasters concerns but equally they have to understand the situation. Which of these Championship clubs realistically are capable of turning themselves into competitive Prem Clubs: Ealing Pirates Coventry Ampthill Nottingham Jersey Bedford Scottish Doncaster Hartpury Richmond Non...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

It's a bit captain hindsight when it comes to England but actually there were no real surprises at the weekend. England were undercooked, missing a few, etc. Scotland have got Russell back in the fold and have a good side. France have a very good side and coaching set up now and will be hard to beat...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back

Whilst I'm unhappy with the squad churn I'm trusting Borthwick knows what he's doing. That is to say, I don't know that it does, but we have trust him. At least there is no flannel and things on the pitch seem to be heading in the right direction. i have a feeling that a lot of the recent decisions...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

For me Ireland were much the better team and Ireland would have won with 15 on the park.

France's championship to lose now. Ireland and England battling out for 2nd - probably will be Ireland. Scotland 4th then Wales and Italy.

Re: PREMIERSHIP ROUND 8

After R8 I think the top 3 have shown themselves as strong play off contenders, winning in style at times and ugly when they need to. Gloucester are in disarray and will be hoping relegation is scrapped at least for this season. There is a whole bunch (us included) that could snatch that 4th spot or...
