Re: MOC to be sacked?

I agree whole heartedly with Tom Young’s:- “We are in a hole but you have to stay positive, you have to keep going. What else can we do - roll over and die? That’s not going to happen. We have to keep going as a group, as supporters as a club, everyone together. We’re supposed to support not ‘only’ ...

Re: Denton

Ludicrously down beat from a number of people and suggestions by at least one person that we can’t attract any decent players is just down right false. There might not be anyone you consider to be a superstar signed this season but over the last 2-3 years some great players have come to Tigers. Also...

Re: MOC to be sacked?

I think as usual a surprising (perhaps not that surprising) amount of people are a little too dispondent about the current state of the club. Whilst clearly not where we want to be and on an absolutely terrible run of form/games I don’t think personally that we’re that far from competing with the to...

Re: Exeter

So Cole and Ayerza presumably are rubbish because they don't/can't play loose head and tight head at international level respectively?!! I think Balmain deserves a break, good improvement over the last couple of seasons at tight head and was at least able to deputise at LH. I think (just my opinion)...

Re: Exeter

Disappointed not to take anything from the game but I don't think it's as bad as some are making out. It seems that we purposely didn't put out the strongest side we could have presumably with an eye on next week, losing away to a good side in good form doesn't cost us the season where as losing at ...

Re: Exeter

My opinion for what it's worth. Though I think we will by the end of the season be stronger for our squad and management changes Exeter are currently a very settled squad and stronger for the signing of Salvi and Parling. As such I think this game at home is theirs to lose, they look like the strong...

Re: Tigers v Quins.....The aftermath.

Great win on Sunday in my opinion and do think that we're trying to play differently from last season. Regardless of pre-season surely the team should be given opportunity in real games and more than 2 games to show improvement. People talking of being realistic....is it realistic to expect to expec...

Re: Strength in depth

Aren't about 65-70% of those 45 players British? Is that not pretty good really particularly given, as mentioned, that if you had an entirely English/British squad of a high enough quality you couldn't possibly as a club compete in the league or Europe due to too much of the squad being missing on i...

Re: Who will be at 7 for Tigers.....

Bit harsh Raging Bull, surely Saj knows more about what makes a good 12 than Mage who lets face it has very little experience or knowledge on the subject!! :smt039 Think Cockers deserves a lot of credit also for the employment of Mage and Hansen. Takes a lot of flak even after serving the club well ...

Re: Austin Healey

Think with Austin he's more clearly a Tigers fan than any other commentator but as such unfortunately goes out of his way to be neutral when commentating but goes too far and criticises too harshly....for example not just Healey but I'd love to see the tackles Goneva has been carded for this season ...

Cockers did look a bit distant at the end, perhaps the knockers are right he's just not engaging with the club!!!!! :smt030

Re: Team vs Wasps

Incredible, no less than I hoped for but didn't the boys deliver it! Massive credit deserved for the effort by the 'remaining' squad to put us in a position to compete for top 4 anyway but that was incredible....well done boys! All over them with 15 and held our own with 14, Bai was definitely yello...

Re: Team vs Wasps

Little concerned about the lack of pace in the back row. Perhaps Pearce is injured as I'd have thought he'd have been the obvious choice for more mobility whilst still maintaining bulk in the back row assuming that's what Cockers is trying to do by not playing Gibson at 6 as surely the most obvious ...

Re: Tait might not be off?

I'd be happy enough for him to stay, with a lengthy run of fitness he's undoubtedly found his best form for us.....playing helps of course!!....he's probably been our most creative player in attack this season, with that he's been the biggest threat offensively and in my opinion clearly an intellige...
