Matt Scott with the intercept try - it’s being checked but looks okay to me - TMO, lost comms - still waiting for replays - looks like no replays means try stands….

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

I think kicking for touch would have been the best option, as setting up the lineout would have run around 30 secs off the clock and Bristol attacking from their 22 off first phase was a much greater challenge than from open play. 2.10 is a long time to pick and go with the risk of sealing off and ...

Fair play for being there and for saying. One piece of good news indeed.

It’s also not one moment, one player, one game.

It’s one player, two moments, two games, both identical scenarios in the same short season.

The only difference is we lost this game - but we arguably deserved to lose both.

It’s the lack of learning that’s so indefensible

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

I think many people underestimate how difficult it is to keep the ball for 3 minutes in those circumstances without infringing or making an error. I'm curious, how early would people advocate "sticking it up the jumper" for when defending a slim lead? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? How early do y...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

The biggest problem for me was sat in the stands with 20 minutes to go you could FEEL it was going to happen - to the point I was praying for a kickable penalty to settle nerves.

The number of penalties we gave away in the last 20 is inexcusable.

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00

Why did JvP come off???? He didn’t look tired we have played Youngs for 70-80 mins before I don’t why we made so many subs earlier than Bristol? Front row could have stayed an extra 10 mins JvP was knackered - just before he's swapped out he's hands on head and completely done. It was clear his fit...

Let’s not forget Newcastle away. Same player. Same time. Same tactic.

And the refs are the refs. We as a team lost that game because we let 20+ points slide in the first half, we looked spent in the second and because whitely kicked the ball away.

You cannot lose if you have the ball. End of.
