Indeed CrumblingTerrace, I dont think any team did it better than that RichieMcCaw team. LAR are also masters at it, I would argue probably even better than us. Ill refer you to this great example by Nathan Hines of how its done!

Thought we got away with a few there for sure, but dont forget playing the ref is part of the game, and one of the reasons home advantage is so important in this comp. You guys put it up to us, will be good prep for next week, but if we play like that again, we will get a pumping from LAR. Best of l...

Loving it offside. You know, if you if you put Freddie is a nice collar and tie and sell them that story it might just work!

Re: 6 Nations 2023

I had to log in to lol at that! For what its worth, I think most of us in Ireland thought it would be a yellow. Freddie is clearly not going for the ball and decides to go for the player cause hes not gonna make it = penalty Freddie clearly moves forward into the collision lifting his elbow up = red...

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

I'm sorry, but England do not deserve to be higher than Ireland. Wales just beat England recently and Ireland beat Wales home and away. Lets not forget that when England beat Ireland (in Twickenham) it was without the world player of the year playing, instead a rookie flyhalf with 2 caps to his name...

Re: World league of nations

Afaik this is the brainchild of agustin pichot and another attempt to make the north weaker and put rugby in the hands of the money men, who only care about money and not the history, tradition and culture of the likes of the six nations and european cup. Imo, this plan should not have even seen the...

Re: Guscott in the rugby paper

Farrell is a quality quality player and is definitely one of Englands world class players, but he is not on a par yet with sexton or Barrett imo. Sexton is the Lions 10. Guscott has become a better pundit over the years, but hes wrong on this one.

Re: Six Nations...

Looks like a very slow squad to me. Joe Schmidt will be ready for the 'surprise' recall of Tuilagi towards the end of the six nations. Not having a go, but seems to be falling apart a little for Eddie, even will greenwood saying its more important to beat new zealand in a friendly than win the six n...

Re: England to win Six Nations

Ok, I take your point and maybe my comment was a bit harsh on Corry. Corry was definitely given the :censored: end of the stick at a time when a lot of senior players had left. Was a bit of a knee jerk reaction at him agreeing with the 'unacceptable' comment, considering he was there, pretty much in...

Re: England to win Six Nations

Surprised Corry has come out and said that tbh. I thought he'd be the last person criticizing. As I remember it, Corry was on the end of some very nasty hidings himself, especially as captain. In my book Robshaw gives more in an England Jersey than Corry ever gave, the man would die on that field fo...

Re: England to win Six Nations

Had read this earlier, and thought it was totally out of order to label it as 'unacceptable', talk about throwing the toys out of the pram! England produced one of the best displays against a french team in the history of the six nations, got a very gutsy away win against a world class Welsh side, a...

Re: England to win Six Nations

What a performance from Ben Youngs in the final match, a man of world class playing ability on the field and honor and respect off it, he can hold his head very high. As an Leinster man I am obviously delighted to win the title, but had said before the game that if England beat France by 26 points t...

Re: England-Penalties

England's discipline was very poor today. There were a few 50 50 calls by Joubert that went Irelands way, but they were defiantly the better team. England were beaten well in the lineout, in the air and defensively. I'm finding it hard to think of an area where England were better tbh... Considering...

Re: Combined Country v Lions

I really think Croft needs a very big game to get in the test team at this stage which is a pity really because I think he has a lot to offer and hasn't had a fair crack yet. I think there are some guys nailed on, and yes I think Gatland is the type to leave Warburton out if he's not firing. This wo...
