Re: Marcus Ayerza

A top bloke as well. Bumped into him last year after he had demolished the London Irish scrum (IIRC) by lifting another International prop off his feet. Felt the need to declare my admiration for everything he had done for the club - and he was genuinely interested about me and my association with t...

Re: Eddie Jones sacks Rowntree, Farrell & Catt

What are people's thoughts on whether we would want Rowntree on the coaching staff at WR? A year ago he was held in very high regard but suffered from a poor world cup showing in the scrum. I think coaching staff form part of the salary cap so might be that we can't bring him back anyway. My view is...

From the map it looks like Shannon airport is closer but an Irish friend of mine is saying Cork? a) Where are you thinking of flying from? b) Would you rather do more travelling in Ireland or on this side before you fly? Re: Sarries record debt

One of the things about Saints' defeat against Clermont is that it gives Mr Wray a reason to stand up on his soapbox again about removing the salary cap - English teams can't compete against the French etc. etc. (although slightly strange considering Sarries' debt position). I think you only need to...

Re: Benjamin's bad luck continues

If we win anything this year it will be a miracle with our luck on injuries. The league is now so competitive that losing a large chunk of your team makes it nigh on impossible. If anything the recent form proves the point - with something like a full side we have won 5 straight, but I fear the dama...

I often think that Lawes knows full well he is going to get there too late to take man and ball but early enough to make the tackle legal.

Re: Home Stretch

i can't say that I can disagree with too many of Ourla's predictions. I have always had in my mind that we'll be ok and finish in the top 4. Now someone has sat down and had a good stab at the possible results I am not so sure. I suppose the thing we can say is that this season hasn't been predictab...

Re: Newcastle on Sunday

I'd like to say the sign of a good side to win when not playing well - but judging from the Radio commentary it sounded desperate.

Had we lost I think we'd have kissed the playoffs goodbye. That game at the Ricoh looking massive now - bet wasps won't be giving free tickets for that one.

Re: croft

I for one would hate to see Croft go. I would agree with other posts that people may have forgotten how good he is - I for one don't think I'll ever forget the sight of Croft sprinting down the touchline to score that try in the AP Semi-Final vs Quins.

Re: anyone know where i could find this great shirt ??

Likely to be too small - Large would be 42"-44" - suspect 46-47" would be more like XL or even XXL.
