Re: Watching the Lions

I mean for gawd sales. Look I realise you all only follow rugby because it gives all your English supremacism an outlet, but it is now so utterrly pathetic and obvious to the point of being beyond bigotry. Gatland didn't pick an English bloke mainly because the Welsh guy is better suited for the gam...

Re: Watching the Lions

Honestly not sure the English and Irish rugby industries and their broadcasters can handle even the slightest "slight" regarding the lions. Their whole industries seems to be sustained by a manufactured hype and narrative, to the extent that a Warren Gatland doesn't have to do anything rea...

Re: Watching the Lions

welshy08 the internet is crawling with WELSH fans criticising Gatland's call-ups. Go back to your homework. :smt015 Uncle Toms to a man. They must be from Cardiff or summit. The fact there are far more complicated calculations to getting the best team, than simply throwing the best players on the p...

Re: Watching the Lions

Lol. Again we are faced with a situation (just like Australia when Wales..sorry the Lions won) whereby English people again let their English supermacism get the better of them. There is no way that a Welshman can be better and more deserving than an Englishman. It just isn't possible huh? Brace You...

Re: Watching the Lions

First lions match is always the same. Thought the Welsh guys did well.

Lets be honest without the Welsh the lions would have disbanded years ago.

Re: Owen Williams - an appreciation

Behind Rhys Patchel and Anscombe in the Wales No 10 stakes.

Should have stayed with the Scarlets (who are playing some of the best rugby in Europe at the moment).

Yesterday he could have been a PRO12 cup final winner.

Re: Well Done Scarlets!

yup. The Pro12 has simply been astounding all year and this semi-final didn't disappoint.

You will certainly be hard pushed to see a more thoroughly entertaining game than this.

Re: Lions before Clubs????

For Wales the Lions effect is nothing but negative and has been for 25 years. We are always terrible the season after a Lions Series (we have a word for this period, we even call it the "Lions Hangover"). Players (that are not injured) have such a dip in fitness and form after the lions th...

Re: Pro12

Hah!! Yeah I am not Warren. Nice try though my darlings. I'm guessing you lot are obviously "shareholders" and "stakeholders" in English rugby I see? Sooo... Hoz ze stock looking? Look I realise you really do have to warp reality and lie about the competition to hand over fistful...

Pro12

It faces a lot of criticism here. You guys probably feel threatened and rightly so. But can I say it has been absolutely superb this year. Some of the clashes and skills on display have been absolutley world class. The Scarlets Ospreys game on the weekend for example, was better than basically anyth...

Re: Watch the Lions highlghts for free on TV

As any fool knows the lions are at their very winning best (recently in Australia, and the 70's etc) when it is lots of Welsh with at most just a couple of others. It all goes to :censored: otherwise. The thing should only be broadcast in Welsh, out of sheer respect to the nation without which, the ...

Re: Lions Squad

"Wales Still Finsihed Fifth Though" Sigh..I mean honestly. There is nothing on the rugby pitch that separates these top teams apart from luck. Luck. Blind Luck. Wales were competitive as anything and ALL those matches could have easily gone the other way and they could have won the champio...

Roly - surely the point of contributing to a forum is to be part of a group of people sharing information on or about a mutual interest. There is nobody on here who agrees with you or who is appreciative of anything you say. You just try (successfully) to provoke reactions with your overly negative...

Re: Lions Squad

Nope, my argument is pretty simple really. It resolves around the fact that how Wales played that tour is exactly how Gatland will want the Lions to play (but for fifteen minutes more). Wales monstered the rucks, created quick ball and put New Zealand back on their heels for two games. Did they ulti...
