Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Sorry that Whitley took flack from the fans, he is young but the question is why did he come over to the Crumbie and argue, he should have stayed away over in the middle? Presumably he came over to thank the fans for attending the game, copped an earful, and responded, as emotions were no doubt hig...

Tigers social post about threats

Tigers have released a couple of tweets on Twitter (I refuse to refer to it as anything else) regarding threats made to players and staff: While we understand the disappointment following today's result, personal threats or abuse directed at players, coaches and / or staff on social media is not acc...

Agree 100% with this Agree the planning this year does seem to be have been poor. Normally we’re told that recruitment is done and dusted by December for the next season. But it appears we’re still talking to the likes of Simmonds, Marchant etc If you think about Wiese leaving, T Willis, CCS, Merce...

I think Carnduff is a 6. Hanro is 6'6, and Finn is 6'4, so he is shorter than Hanro, however he does weigh the same as Hanro. A a result, I think he is perfectly suited for the back row. Plus being shorter means he is better suited for a turnover as we saw at Newcastle. I think someone else already...

This is roughly depth chart as I'm expecting it next season brackets mean they cover here but primarily play elsewhere. LH: Smith, Cronin, Whitcombe, Van Der Flier HK: Montoya, Clare, Vanes, Theobald-Thomas TH: Heyes, Cole, Hurd, New Signing (probably, possibly also cover LH also based on rumours) ...

Re: Champions' Cup Quarter finals 2024

So, one English side through v a French outfit. One Irish side through v a French outfit. An English side at home in the third of the four quarters - who are we supporting in that one? Do we want Saints to win so that they can't go full strength Vs us next week at the Allotment and have had three to...

Marchant had been speaking to Sarries as he was pretty keen to go back to London, which was the same as Sam Spink who has now signed with Sarries. To be fair, Tom Whiteley commutes up from North London every day so it can be done if he is prepared to do so. Complete aside - do many of the current T...

Slightly related - I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon today in aid of Dementia UK. If anyone would like to donate, you can do so at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dave-king23 - as is custom, I'll be running in my Tigers shirt. Finished in 3.hours 40 and raised over £1,000 so far...
