Re: Favourite matches of all time

Crofty having a stormer at the Allotment as the Sinners fans headed home in their droves before the hour mark. Can't remember the year but I'm sure we were wearing the platinum Cat sponsored shirt.

The other was the Stade European final. I was quite young but still remember it like it was yesterday.

Singleton signs for Gloucester..... on loan. Guess that’s why we didn’t want him. Can’t blame Tigers.

Despite the recent slump, I hope Kalamafoni’s service, effort, workrate will not be forgotten and has been one of our best signings in the past five years. He has been nothing short of excellent.
For one season at least, he was pretty much our only ball carrier

Looks more and more like Guy Thompson isn’t staying next season. I’d imagine Brink would be more his replacement than the rumoured big 8.
I'd guess due to retirement through injury?

Re: Blaine Scully Retires

Blaine Scully has announced that he has retired from professional rugby, Personally I think he was one of our greatest pickups of the last decade, I remember him playing for us at the Prem 7's and hoping we'd sign him up permanently and was over the moon when we did, just wish he'd stayed a bit lon...

Perry Freshwater as well!
Oooooh, now there's a question - ended up playing for England. Does that exclude him?

Edit: he was capped in 2005, two years after he left us - I'll get back in my box

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

I really don't understand why we brought back Callum Green. Very very average. he currently doesn't appear to be any better than Wells and is probably being paid a lot more than him And yet last season was one of the best performing locks in the Prem. He's also spent some time out injured this seas...

Wonder if we’ll have any announcements next week? Also gone very quiet on the futures for the likes of Guy Thompson and Will Spencer.
Spencer definitely of to Bath. Question marks over Thompson and his fitness

Re: Wasps in massive trouble?

I wonder if they will be forced into letting go of some of their players this summer to try and balance the books a little?

Re: Sarries vs Leicester - Teams Up

I don't think that Leicester have found the right blend yet. Can't fault the effort but could've done with a bit more attacking prowess in my opinion. It was workmanlike but in the end it's about scoring more points than conceded. I get the impression that Leicester have worked very hard to survive...

Re: Sarries vs Leicester - Teams Up

:smt015 :smt015 :smt015 :smt015 Do we have to have this every game until SB arrives and gets his feet under the table? It's only a week or two away. Or is this just getting a parting shot in? Everyone seriously needs to get a grip! Whatever you think of Murphy's respective merits or otherwise as a ...
