Re: As Harry Hill would say ...... FIIIIIIGHT!!!
It is likely to be due to the little one way 'chat' Cockers had with Clark after the final whistle. Clark looked rather sheepish during the whole incident and I would imagine that Dozzer took exception to what Cockers had said to one of his boys and that they more than likely have very different opi...

Re: England boss: selection by media, politic or common sense?
And the tiresome thing is that the same media that have been coerced into supporting his cause will be the first to invent an hilarious soubriquet like "turnip head" or "the wally with the brolly" the first time something goes wrong. Assuming the first time something goes wrong ...

I've wondered that but also wondered how Flood's ego would cope with that? Also wondered how he'd accept rotating with Ford?RWA wrote:Why not have Ford at 10 and Floody at 12 ?

Re: England kit to be supplied by Canterbury
I have heard a rumour that Tigers had already signed a deal to wear Canterbury kit. This is a slight concern as they don't tend to do sizes for those of us with 'fuller figures' whereas Cotton Traders do make replica shirts for those who are large lumps, like myself. Do Canterbury also do cotton re...

Would Tom Youngs have had more game time had he not been crocked for most of the season? Or would he have been third choice behind Chutes and Hawkins?

Not sure I can see Crofty starting at 7. Most likely England's starters will be on the bench and Youngs to start ahead of Grinds

Re: Hawkins Injury/Clark Citing
Just a thought, but don't they normally get anything 'dodgy' taken down if there is going to be a citing? Or am I getting mixed up?

Re: Hawkins Injury/Clark Citing
There, sadly, seems to be more and more of this going on. Players expected, years ago, to get a good shoeing if they were laying on the wrong side and that was part and parcel of the game, but that has now gone (rightly or wrongly) and incidents like this seem to be creeping into the game more and m...

Re: Hartley cited
Rob Webber? I thought David Paice of the NotNots (Aussie but qualified through residency I believe) was supposed to be the 'next big thing'? Whatever happened to him in the reckoning? Although I'd prefer an 'Englishman', born and bred or of English heritage/parentage etc rather than another import....

Re: Hartley cited
There aren't any decent, young, English hookers that are getting game time. What is the forums general view of Rob Hawkins (when he has two working arms) and Tom Youngs?

Re: Hartley cited
Why are we not surprised?! Thank God it's the end of the tournament and we don't have to suffer the hooker from Wasps (whose name escapes me) and his horrificly misfiring throws into the lineout

Re: Stanko v Stains
Many thanks fentiger, the two of us in the bin together - at least it won't be lonely! It just annoyed the hell out of me yesterday that Tonga'uiha made no effort to bind in the first three or four scrums that were down in our corner and Doyle made no effort to come around to the side where it was a...
