Re: Like to have seen more of?
Harry Ellis A real warrior who gave everthing for the team a bit like Moody in his diregard for his own body, charging down kicks, scrapping etc. Shame his knee injury prevented him carrying on - I can't quite remeber how it got it but I think it was foul play and some big lock kicked it when fully ...

Re: MOC to be sacked?
"We are two wins away from that position but we have to start fixing what has been going wrong and start delivering." The fact that he would say this is worrying. Two wins assumes the table stands still, it sounds desperate and I think a pretty daft comment. The more realistic position is ...

Re: Premiership - Remaining Games
I forgot about the Bath game being at Twickers, I think we will win that one now! We have Saints away two weeks prior to that game so as usual it comes down to a massive showdown with Saints - can't wait just hope we are still in the running come those two games. I would still rest key players again...

Premiership - Remaining Games
Just interested in the Premiership here but my thoughts are linked to the Champions Cup as well. I had a look at the remaining games: 5 home games (Gloz, Briz, Exeter, Newcastle, Sale) 4 away games (Quins, Saints, Bath, Worcester) Historically it has usually been 65 /66 pts plus to secure 4th spot. ...

Re: Stade v Tigers
I just posted this on the gouging thread as well, they have cited two of the Stade players Paul Gabrillagues et Laurent Sempéré cités The link is to a French article but you can follow it well enough https://www.francebleu.fr/sports/rugby/champions-cup-paul-gabrillagues-et-laurent-sempere-cites-1453...

Re: NZ Vs England 3rd Test Teams
Can't believe Burrell even has a spot on the bench - he was basically playing touch rugby last week with the amount of tackles he missed / fell off. I agree with an earlier poster would have made more sense to have Billy on the bench. I would have loved to see Slates on the bench instead of Launchbu...

Re: Manu to start on the wing ?
This is an interesting topic - Manu is a world class centre but he also possesses attributes that would allow him to play on the Wing and he would probably make a very good number 8 as well! I would be surprised if Tigers, having nurtured Manu since the academy did not know his best position. I thin...

Re: Teams Up v Saracens
I think Cockers has got the right balance we are not fielding a complete second string and given the huge semi final match just a week away I think there would be a lot of complaints on here if someone like Slater, Goneva or Loggi got injured in playing what is effectively a dead rubber? I am actual...

Re: Well done to the Tigers
Well done indeed, with some new coaching staff and many injury challenges we have done really well to qualify for the playoffs. There is more still to come and I can't wait for the Sarries came on Sat and then going down to Twickers for the final to play them again....and beat them again. Many highl...

Re: Why?
It would be a pretty boring forum if everyone just agreed with each other and just made positive comments all the time - I think if people wanted to read that sort of stuff they would need to add a fourth bullet point to the main forum menu: 1. Fans Forum 2. Welford Road Chit Chat 3. Technical Forum...

Is Kitch injured? I would have him on the bench for sure.
I would give Mele a start as well.
Can't wait for the game.....

Re: Is a home semi final out of the question?
A home semi is looking less likely, a top 4 finish is not nailed on anymore with Quins now in the mix, and we still need to win our last two games. We will get the wins against Sale (4) and Sarries (4) so will likely finish on 72 points The Saints v Bath result on Saturday is now key. If Saints win ...

Re: Is a home semi final out of the question?
I was wrong in my first prediction saints got no points vs Sale!
It is not nice to see good teams choke at the business end of the season but if it means we get a home semi I don't mind !

Re: Is a home semi final out of the question?
I most certainly will Keep the Faith! Bunchy - I think we will do better vs Sarries because Sarries will probably put out a second team when we play them as they will already be top and so be resting players for their home semi final. I think we will do better against Sale because when we play them ...
