Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Ok, the kick did ultimately lead to the winning score, but I'd be asking how they got into that position on the scoreboard. What about the other 2 tries ? They should never have been in a position to win that game at that point, so letting a prop in for 2 tries before that would be concerning me mor...

AVDF is nominated for Nottingham player of the season I guess him at LH and if Hoyt can progress in the off season, we are prob ok for props. Maybe see front row options like 1. Smith, Cronin, Whitcombe, AVDF, (Miell, Kingsley-Mellowes) 2. Montoya, Clare, FTT, Vanes, (Smith, Clarke) 3. Cole, Heyes,...

Re: Congratulations Handrè
Do we know whether it was a natural birth, what pain relief was administered etc ? I'm sure someone on here will be chipping in with comments on how the midwife handled the whole scenario, whether procedures were carried out properly etc - oh, he/she should have weighed the baby earlier than he/she ...

Just a point I'll put here (have put a seperate congratulations thread also) Handrè had his son born on Thursday, which may explain why Kelly seemed to be running the attack a bit this week if he's not been fully training this week. ......and these are the things that a lot of the time us fans have...

This sounds sensible to me. Use this weekend's game as a carrot and reward any decent displays with a bench spot, or starting depending on position.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 9:04 pm As it's a Tigers XV next weekend I'd see who steps up then and I'd be tempted to give them a real shot vs Sale if they do well.

Sorry that Whitley took flack from the fans, he is young but the question is why did he come over to the Crumbie and argue, he should have stayed away over in the middle? Presumably he came over to thank the fans for attending the game, copped an earful, and responded, as emotions were no doubt hig...

Wasn’t Whiteley decent in earlier games ? Seems like he’s copping the flack for a collective effort ?

Wasn’t at the game and didn’t catch it on tv so can’t comment on referee or decisions, all I know is I checked at 19-7 and thought “we’ve won this”. Story of our season. I expected a 20 point Bristol win, but this feels worse given the position we were in.

Re: Doom and Gloom
Agreed. Everything has to be now, instant success and if it's not forthcoming it's "sack the coaches". There's no patience. All we want to see is improvements, that's the frustration for me. There are obviously factors around why that hasn't happened and I understand that.

Decent interview with Joe Heyes on the Rolling Maul podcast. Interesting how dramatic we all are after the loss at Saints (can you imagine how the players would be if they reacted in a similar fashion), whereas the staff/players are focusing on that first half, where we nullified their attack and im...

12 months ago, Freddie Steward was the best full-back in the world. He was so good in fact, that teams changed how they played to nullify his threat. The game evolved and now Freddie does too. He may not have the pace, Scott Hamilton never did, but his stride makes up for that, and actually, if tea...

Regarding Hodge, the last two games I’ve watched him play for Exeter and England A, I lost count of the number of times he decided not to pass to a teammate in a better position and instead go into contact on his own. :smt018 Noticed that looks like he brought too much into his own wonder try hype....
