Re: England in the 6N

Eddie picks the squad. He is meticulous in terms of watching players, looking at body language, how players react to certain situations etc. I'm pretty sure he won't be thinking "oh no, I haven't picked an 8", he'll have a plan for everything, in detail and they'll be reasons why certain players hav...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

My guess is that things will get worse for Sarries until the judgement is made public. The financial implications are especially interesting. Will Allianz renew their sponsorship? If not, who will take it on? Will the Wray family continue to bank roll the business, even as losses increase over the ...

Re: Wasps v Saints

Honest question do you know they were available at the time Not 100% no, but Boyd joined Saints in August 2018, it was announced in January 2018. O’Connor was sacked in September 2018. I don’t think it’s too far off the mark to say he would have been an option when we were looking for a “world clas...

How good are Saints. Very impressive. Makes you scratch your head and wonder why Tigers didn’t pick up Chris Boyd & and our own Sam Vesty. Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

Better, but still concerns over the defence and the apparent switching off at times. Teams are getting in behind us far too easily. Still, 5 points and some hope.

According to the Mail (usually reliable) Genge is on the verge of signing a 2 year extension with a relegation opt out clause.
Genge himself has dismissed this on Twitter as complete garbage.

Re: QUINS VS TIGERS 28TH DEC

It's not just who plays though is it, it's the recruitment of too many revolving door average players and the way they play. Week after week I see the same things (or lack of them), poor restarts (either way), aimless kicks, poor kick chase, too many silly penalties, too many turnovers, lack of any...

Re: QUINS VS TIGERS 28TH DEC

Positives : Scrum, defence (on the whole) Negatives: Restarts and attack I felt a bit sorry for Lavanini, a couple of restarts someone went up in front of him and blocked his eye-line, resulting in a knock on. Even more concerning but nothing new, our attack is ponderous, unimaginative and predictab...

Do we think Cole and Ben Youngs will feature for England ? I think I’d be looking at options to get Spencer, Robson etc in at 9 maybe.

It seems to be coming in a lot more recently. If your team isn’t playing well and/or losing, blame the ref rather than looking at yourself.

Re: QUINS VS TIGERS 28TH DEC

“We’ve got some bodies back but we’ve also lost some bodies but we’ve had a great training week” ....GM’s pre match waffle. Hoping for a win but these games normally go the same way as th Exeter game...some good bits followed by some mindless pathetic inexcusable bits...ending in a narrow defeat. Ve...
