Re: EUROPEAN RUGBY - Revised Format
At home full strength I back ourselves against everyone of those teams At least we should be back at full strength (injuries dependent) by then so we could have a fairly solid squad. 1. Genge 2. Montoya 3. Cole 4. Lavanini 5. Green 6. Liebenberg 7. Reffell (or Van Staden?) 8. Wiese 9. Youngs 10. Fo...

Re: Progress Under Borthwick
I’m just enjoying us winning a few games if I’m honest ! Style of play is one thing, but seeing the desire and passion of the squad is a real joy. I’m even enjoying the losses, when you can see the players putting a shift in.

Re: 20th Feb 2021 - Home vs Wasps
Decent game plan yesterday and the players looked comfortable executing it. These things take time with new combinations. Runners off 9 punching holes and then going a bit wider and using Murimurivalu a lot more. The ball was quicker which meant Wasps couldn’t reset and were on the back foot a lot o...

Re: 20th Feb 2021 - Home vs Wasps
Let’s be honest here, aside from the red cards there isn’t much to complain about from the performance today. Physical, direct and we also tried moving the ball. Scott and Moroni are starting to click. The improvements are there for all to see. Physicality is up a couple of notches, attack is buildi...

How many “Red Leicester” headlines are we thinking ? Along with the “Double Gloucester”....well nearly.

Re: 20th Feb 2021 - Home vs Wasps
Time to see what we’ve learned from previous games. Discipline please. Penalties lead to pressure, pressure leads to yellow cards, which lead to points against. Keep hold of the ball. If we get slow ball, kick to compete, don’t aimlessly kick it to the Wasps back three, who will make hay. I’m confid...

Re: England v Italy - 13th Feb at 14:15
Well the person in charge of Worcester Warriors twitter account is a bit miffed at the dropping of Lawrence judging by all the tweets they’ve been liking and rightly so, frankly I think Jones has treated the guy really poorly. He’s not picked him for the match day squad vs Italy. I’m pretty sure he...

Re: England v Italy - 13th Feb at 14:15
I really don’t get Daly and Slade. I’m not saying they’re poor players. Far from it. But must-pick internationals? :smt017 I guess every head coach has his favourites. Shame not to see Odogwu and Randall. Guess they’re victims of what happened last week as much as Lawrence. Shame really. Farrell is...

Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
Not sure what Brink has done to be dropped, thought he ran hard and was really physical vs Worcester. This obsession with having a “genuine” 7 is bizarre if I’m honest. You’ll get turned over if you don’t look after the ball properly, by anyone. The way our defence has been improving, getting off th...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
I sometimes wonder if anyone actually watches any rugby other than the 6 Nations ! Some bizarre comments. I don’t know any side in the history of the game that had a Plan B, it’s an over used and out dated statement that has no actual substance. Have you ever played in a game where you’ve changed ta...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
Watson I think is the natural choice for the full back slot, but he hasn't got Daly's kicking game. Malins is a good impact sub at the moment and will probably get his chance in the next couple of years I suspect. I'm not sure why Daly gets so much stick - if he was making mistakes or his decision-m...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
Let's face it unless Daly insults Eddie's dog he will always be picked, same goes for other players. Good to see that Obano could make his long overdue cap from the bench, however knowing Eddie he will either come on for 50 seconds or not at all. I think EJs dog is more suited to International Rugb...

Re: Championship rugby
Bad news this, both for Champ players who have been training on and off for the best part of a year waiting to play again, and the squad players of Prem sides who would be turning out for these sides. It will be interesting if teams pull out, as you say, the RFU will be desperate to get Sarries back...
