Re: Alex Sanderson.....

It didn’t help that Gloucester were woeful, rudderless and pretty clueless. Cipriani rubbish.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester

Good win with so many players missing. Gloucester pretty much at full strength and won’t win anything (again) playing like that. Very poor. Tempest doesn’t help himself. Missed virtually every Gloucester line out not straight. At one point with Veainu the injured and lying on the ground, their hooke...

Re: Tigers to Tabbies

Link to report https://www.rugbynetwork.net/main/s104/st199643.htm Well worth reading. A decent summary I’d say, but is it telling us something we didn’t know ? Nope. If the author bothered to do some research, they’d find that Tigers have accepted that we’re not good enough and that things need to...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester

It's not personnel, it's personality. It's not the DNA of the individual but that of the club. Hugo gushed over the "Saracens DNA" last week. That used to be us. Yep, we had it but it went a long time ago. How difficult is it to get something similar going again ? Exeter have tried...they have a de...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

On BT Sport today, the camera panned in at half time to the 2 dressing rooms Sarries were all ears to their Coach. they looked enthused... Panning to the home dressing room, it showed players sitting isolated, and then a very telling shot of Murphy flitting across, with not a word said. Am sorry, h...

Re: ENG vs NZ - RWC Semi

Same team as last week I think it worked well. Don’t believe the tosh about Daly, he’s been very good at 15 and his boot is a good weapon. I’d be worried if I were NZ, we’ve got threats all over the pitch.

Re: Borthwick

Fabulous news if true. Maybe a bit harsh on Bakewell, forwards seemed better against Exeter, assume he’s the one going. Imagine it’ll be Murphy DOR , Borthwick, Head coach/forwards, Ford Backs Given Bakewell’s track record of, “one good forwards game, then several unexplained poor games” I’d say we...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

All this scrum nonsense is the reason why we’re still in n the dark ages and everyone else has moved on ! It’s great to have a decent scrum, yes, but have Sarries or Exeter dominated at scrum time ? Not particularly but they have got 2 front rows a piece who can carry, offload, have good ball skills...

Sorry to disgree but I see Quins winning the league under Gustard, not next season but definitely the season after.
Quins will not win the league in 2,3,4 or 5 years time.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

Top 6 with this amateur coaching team, top 4 with a top quality coaching team. Gustard won’t win anything, neither will Ackerman...serial runner-up. Boyd though.... I'd love to know what you're basing this on. Ackermann and Gustard both have better rugby CVs than Baxter and McCall when they first a...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

3-4 seasons? Boyd? Ackerman? Gustard? Excuses in already?! No excuses, just being realistic. If we make Top 6 it will have been a decent season I reckon.
