Re: Racing Metro Paris at Nottingham

The City Ground...what a dump !! Tigers outplayed...seemed to run everything and got quite bored of the side to side attacking. Should have mixed it up a bit with a kicking game ? Can't believe the scrum penalties given away when we seemed to have the upper hand.

Re: Scott Hansen

Johnny Wilkinson for me. I'd have him in the England changing room before every kick off just to deliver the motivational speech !

Barrow

Mightily imoressed with Dom Barrow yesterday and since he joined. A lot of clubs were after him and you can see why. Aside from a few silly penalties in games, he's been excellent. A real physical, gnarly lock, absolutely huge with an engine and good hands to boot !! Seeing him "live" yest...

Re: Teams up v Saints

Saints fans note…Lawes said he tripped…rather than ..he was tripped. The old cliche of scoring too early…it was almost a dream being 21-0 ahead after no time at all. I do worry about our front row. Yes, we're competitive but we aren't dominating sides like we used to..maybe it will come but it seems...

Re: Teams up v Saints

How Jammy are the Tigers!! And same old Leicester, always cheating!! Deliberately tripped Courtney Lawes up as he went through the ruck to kick the ball out, and Barnes a Tigers fan typically missed it, incompetent as usual!! Also Tiggers should play tag Rugby, high tackle what a laugh, even Healey...

Re: Team for Sarries

I'm disappointed as well. Yeah yeah, it's a long season/the title isn't won in December blah blah it's a marathon not a sprint. I'd rather see what we're made of and put the big guns out and take them on. Anyone can get injured at any time, even vs Treviso !! Players recover really well now, with ph...

Camacho starts ! So what do we read into the side ? We're happy with a losing bonus maybe, or we are hoping that we can stay close for 60 mins and then bring on the big guns for he final assault ?

Re: Team for Sarries

Just seen our squad....weakened starting line up with the best bench ever known to man. Disappointing.

Re: Team for Sarries

Our back 3 will be crucial in this game, as Sarries will be kicking as they usually do and just waiting for errors or gaining territory. If we can be squeaky clean in terms of giving penalties away, sound under the high ball and carry hard, then we're in with a shout in my opinion. Don't give them a...

Re: Worcester v Tigers

Me too, missed him going off and just saw Tom Youngs coming on, so assumed it was an injury ? Back row balance was a problem yesterday, Croft clearly isn't a 7 so we had nobody competing at the breakdown and in the first half, the forwards were walking to rucks on several occasions when they were do...

Re: Worcester v Tigers

I'm going tomorrow, glad that Worcester are in this league now so I have another game that I can get to relatively easily, along with Glos. Slightly disappointed that I won't see Fitz or O'Connor in action…such is life. Our game and intent has moved on to such an extent, that as good as Croft, Crane...

Re: Injuries & Returns - What's the latest?

Whoa hold on a minute....what you're saying is that our experts in strength, conditioning & recovery were ignored by Slater, in his haste to try and make the RWC, and Cockers et al agreed to this ??!

Re: RWC tickets x 2 - Australia v Argentina

Appreciate that grumpy. Sad that some people get their entertainment from that sort of behaviour, get a "rise" out of others and pass it off as 'banter' when the initial post was only to try and get rid of tickets that I can't use. Whether 2p or £200, why should it matter if you don't want...
