Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

I think the sale of the club is the boards reward for failure. In recent years the rugby as got worse and worse. Poor decision making by the BOD, poor appointments and declining success has lead to surviving relegation by a whisker. The BOD does not have a solution so they cannot save face, but make...

Re: Mike Ford is joining/WRU block Edwards bid/Glynn getting sacked

More player power then! A glance in the crystal ball sees “toxic tigers” in the championship. Moving pieces around the chessboard does nothing to alleviate the problem. The biggest problem is at Board level and recruitment of Ford snr just demonstrates it.

At half time someone from the Board to explain whilst spending
up to the salary cap, why we are in the “doo doo” and why the standard of play on the pitch is ???

Re: COULD WELFORD ROAD BECOME A RUGBY GRAVEYARD?

We will have a hotel, banqueting facilities and some quiet bars all generating income but can you grow cabbages on a synthetic pitch?

Re: ARE THERE ANY LAWS IN THE GAME THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?

Before changing any laws .ensure refs enforce the current laws consistently.get rid of this distasteful practice of “game management” which enables refs to enforce which laws they like and ignore others , then look to change the laws.

No but I am fed up of pollsters continually wanting a new coach. The trouble is far higher than the coach!

Re: WOULD YOU PREFER PRIVATE OWNERSHIP?

What is the issue that proposes this comment. Are we poor? Can we afford to pay to the salary cap? Current performance suggest our funds for players is not being spent wisely if we want to win. If we wish to remain a mid to lower league side in a ring fenced premiership- fine. If we find a sugar dad...

Re: Saints to get relegated?

After our last display it could be us. I think most sides put down playing tigers as a win. In all my years of following tigers I have never been so depressed, we lurch from one defeat to another and come up with another excuse. Unless there are changes we will disappear

If we are spending up to the salary cap now we are not doing very well out of it!

While we are at it, what about a couple of seasons in the championship? Clear out some deadwood, cleanse the boardroom and reduce the salary bill at the same time. Who knows it might concentrate a few minds.
