Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

It will be interesting to see who gets a Lions invite. I suspect Steward will.

Mike Ford and Oldham RL- for us dual-code fans

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/68577404 As a kid I was a Roughyeds supporter, cramming with my mates into the Watersheddings ground in the 'Threp-enny Rush' - you handed over a 3d piece (not p in those days) to get action closer up than the Crumbie. Oldham fell down the leagues alas and lo...

I still think Bill W was right about the source of information about Tigers signings. It definitely still is th taxi driver's mother :smt003 . One for those of us who remember Bill and his admonition to KEEP THE FAITH. Ah men to that I never met BillW. we arranged to have a fag behind the Crumbie a...

Re: Next seasons season ticket

Playing devils advocate, did the club phone any ST holders on here and offer to pay any of your bills during the shutdown ,and other times when folk were struggling? Person gets enjoyment from watching Tigers. Person wants Tigers to survive. Person acts generously and pays more than they have to. Do...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

It's what you would expect when 2/3 of a starting XV and close to 2/3 of a squad are playing together week in week out all season long. If you think about it it's criminal that Ireland and Ireland don't clean up everything domestic, European and Internationally. It's a huge failure on their part wh...

Re: Rugby: "Child Abuse"

Another example of the world gone mad. While I am distinctly not of the Daily Mail 'PC gone mad' type tendency, as someone who has worked as an education professional most of their working life, and as a child abuse investigator the rest of it, this is unbalanced in the context of child development...

Re: We need to talk about Handré

IMO the premiership win under Borthwick was an anomaly. We have then skipped from coach to coach and now have a high quality coach in place for less than a year, which happens to be World Cup year. I said at the beginning of the season that a PRC win and qualify for champions cup next season should...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Realism would see that we will never have the resources nor the advantages of Leinster or most French sides. The cap is not £10m nor do we have the luxury of having a core international side (how many caps?) available for Europe and any crunch matches, while only playing 15 games a season (less inju...
