Re: Exeter Chiefs

We know you dislike the term. Could you suggest an alternative for this area of activity of the oxymoronic insidious totalitarian anarchists? Those who object loudest to Exeter's 'appropriation' are also those who are loudest to claim the right to self identify: If Exeter fans want to self identify...

Re: Exeter Chiefs

Chief is used as a greeting, so is lover. 😳 Just alter the pic to something the fans vote for, and ban the dirge. My sibs hate it, and they're North Standers. Given the profile of many fans these days a offshore island flag would do 😅 And please give up using the Maoist/Daily Mail "PC gone mad" tro...

There is no requirement for popcorn today.

From Tigers on Twitter - "Crack on, we're having a day off!"
Damn, that means I'll have to do some work.....
Teaser, Tuafua still quarantined?

Re: MATT O'CONNOR

What more is there to say about MOC that has not been said? In summary for me his re-appointment was a complete and utter unmitigated disaster for our club, and one that did not need to be made by a board whose incompetence was simply breathtaking. Amen to that, an appointment that should have neve...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

I'm really enthused by all this. Apropos RichieB complaining that threads get 'perverted' into discussions of the distant past (2000 isn't that distant for me, 1965 would be) it's because we all kept asking ourselves "where did it all go wrong". I'm hoping that this is a watershead (nod to the old R...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

36 was always overrated by Tigers fans. A good player but never enough about him to be an international. Slightly au contraire, I think he is one example of a potential top line player who withered for the want of good top line coaching; Owen Williams likewise. Both looking good at Tigers but offlo...

Haven’t read in any detail but Sale have announced 10 players are leaving
Fissler was Tweeting about Irish earlier as well... something along the lines of it's not just Leicester!
We may find Tigers haven't played it that badly when the carnage elsewhere is revealed.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

Some of our more deep seated issues are from MOCs first stint at Tigers. Not being argumentative., Genuinely interested in your perspective. What would those 'more deep seated issues' be from MOCs first stint? General poor skill levels, back play prehistoric at times, Ayerza & Castro had the best p...

We feel very informed, and this new media initiative - long may it continue as I think it is engaging as well as putting some things to bed. Bondi does a good job.

Who/What is financing Japanese rugby?

Is it sustainable?
Apparently falling interest etc. Articles around Xmas speak of a couple of years decline. Would like to read a post COVID19 scenario.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

The good news continues with these young Tigers committing themselves to the future of the club, these guys are more important to us going forward than the would be the arrival of many of the names suggested in various posts on here, although I wouldn't mind the odd new star to fill a couple of pla...
