Re: McGinty off

There is some sort of purge going on & it doesn't sit right, Murphy & McGinity were the 2 who apparently got us through the lockdown & the contract hassles, yet now both kicked out, I worry now who us going to get the not DOR role. How long before Aled decides that South Wales looks nice? If he doe...

Re: Open Letter To The Board

Excellent post reflecting my views well. I bought two season tickets intending to donate to the club the unused balance (as a pensioner) because I believed in the club. Now I'm wondering what the h*ll is going on.

I actually give up with this club, ran by a bunch of clowns :smt010
I was recently involved with an organisation where something similar suddenly started to happen. That became a horror show. 😕

Re: Is it defence that's the issue?

I believe I still have some scars from old fashioned rucking, you didn't lay offside for long did you. I once borrowed a shirt from a team mate (the club shirts were minging). 20 mins in got a shoeing. The strips of remaining shirt were not happily received, and I ended up cadging the money off my ...

Is it defence that's the issue?

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/dec/03/rugby-union-obsession-with-defence-must-be-tackled-if-game-is-to-thrive-the-breakdown I've got to be honest, if we went back to the 'way we were' with tackle clear-outs, rucking etc, fold-in scrum formation (with straight put-ins and real hooking), fewer...

You've been to North East Scotland then lol.
Seems like a century since we were in Melrose. Love the Borders.
I had to travel for over 2 hours south to get to there lol.

Re: Role of the TMO

During the game the TMO and AR's can advise but the ref is the one who makes the final decision. (Law 6.5.a: The referee is the sole judge of fact and of law during a match.) That is the issue when refs blatantly let offences go unpunished or not managed. No one wants the game to be reffed by commi...

Re: Role of the TMO

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/dec/01/eddie-jones-believes-fewer-breaks-in-play-attacking-rugby-union EJ basically say what many of us do. It's the breakdown/ruck. Go back to it being a ruck and enforce the Laws brutally. and while you're at it, use the TMO for offside at all times - it'll t...

Re: Matera hero to zero

Surely an erasure of history would be Matera deleting the tweet, and getting away scot-free from any punishment as well nobody knowing about it? Actions have consequences, if you think the UAR is infested with "wokery" then you have simply lost the plot! I hate the term 'woke', now a convenient dis...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup

It's in the SH psyche to whinge, not just Wales. Gatland carried them onward even as rugby in Wales faltered. It's dying now, and the decades of complacent neglect by the WRU are coming home to roost. Truly heartbreaking - look at all the great clubs on the brink or gone. :smt010 Complacency, or th...

Not very patient are you?
Some talked of giving a new coach at least a season with a full pre-season, this year we have not had that and are 2 games in.
Mate, you're talking to yourself with many on here.

Re: Matera hero to zero

I know someone who was involved in far right stuff some years ago. If you dug up his old social media you wouldn't recognise the bloke, who's renounced all that and works in a multiracial community.
People, especially young people, write things that are often stupid! I know, I teach them!
