I'll be surprised if Sarries let this lead go.

Re: QF cancelled

Got trashed a bit for saying this would happen, some sages told me it would all be over by now and I was fear mongering. 💣 There there, never mind. You can now bask in the knowledge that you were in fact correct. Sorry not basking. Wish I had been wrong, I wanted to go to this match above all this ...

Re: Tigers vs Castres - 20 Sep 20 at 1500

According to Rugbrama, the match could be in doubt, because there have apparently been cases of Covid in the Castres club and with the sharp increase of cases in England, the Castres squad have not yet left home and are awaiting developments. If they don't travel then I'd assume that they'd forfeit...

Jonah Holmes starts for the Dragons tonight vs Brizzle.
Refs a help for Dragons - their LH has pulled down blatantly 3 times and not attracted a penalty - the last time penalty against Briz!
[edit] 2nd half done every time. :smt005

One thing i hope they are prepared for, Kockott will try to get someone sent off, either through niggle getting a response or pretending to be hit. Not one of my favourites :smt013

Smith was pretty rapid to be fair, Rabeni was quick too
Matt Smith was the fastest over 30m at one time, faster than Varndell, pointed out by Cockers once.

Re: A question.

I get the OP's point, but I am not sure it would make much difference. I might well be missing something here, but it seems that current testing levels are still below capacity according to the government figures - by more than 30,000 a day (for pillar 1&2). Latest figures....https://coronavirus.da...

Re: Pro 14 - Coach of the year, guess who!

Winning for me is trophies in the cabinet. I agree that currently Edinburgh look closer to winning something than Tigers but neither has won anything for a while! Edinburgh were where we have been for two seasons, under-performing badly, and without the tradition, spirit and resources. He's done a ...

Kockott at 9 for Castres is a typical scrum half. Mouthy, very annoying and normally a pain in the proverbial. We need to keep an eye on him.
And a classic injury feigner like Sexton.

Re: Brian Moore - Telegraph 14 Sep 2020

Interesting and thoughtful article. The reference to Digby Jones, possibly one of the most useless people to have on the Board!
Many decry the 'former Tigers' bias at the club, yet Moore sees that dynastic element as having served England well.
Thanks for posting it!

Re: A new defence coach?

Still thinking we need a defence coach after today? Perhaps that comment of Ellis's about not executing the plan was spot on?
