Re: House of Rugby - Burgess on the Fords

BigDan50 has a thing about Fords; bit like the 5 year + earbending longlivethecrumbie got from me about MOC. :smt043 :smt043

Hopefully tigers have got Borthwick tied up to a long term deal
He might be a disaster...
I think you might find there is a clash with some if he is half the disciplinarian that Cockers was, and I suspect he is out of the same mould.

Oooer, deep doodoo. Or caci vawr, if you like. All those Pro14 money projections better come true, methinks, or the regions are going the way of Neath.

Re: New Rugby Coronavirus Laws

In the UK, 1,000 people a year die from falling down the stairs. Anyone worried about walking down the stairs this morning? Nope, didn't think so. Wrong. Loads of people have that worry. But the ones who DO worry about falling down stairs move into a bungalow if they can. And the ones who do worry ...

Re: Cockers' linguistic skills

According to 'The Ruck' these linguistic skills may soon be heard to full effect in Gloucester: https://www.ruck.co.uk/reports-gallagher-premiership-side-want-richard-cockerill/ Be interesting to see what Cockers does. Edinburgh have made big strides under him and he's very popular north of the bor...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

Daz and Cockers were a real couple of characters. I wouldn't have liked to get on the wrong side of them though. :smt005 Reading 'A Year in Stripes' Cockers comes out really well, especially as the most likely to help younger players, and the Baron as a naturally gifted player. Both staggeringly co...

Don't get overexcited. South Coast, London reporting surges. Too early yet. However players may decide in the end, especially those with young families.

Re: ANOTHER WAVE OF COVID 19?

I also rather suspect that the actual number of cases is way more than the published figures. I know of 20 or so people who have had an illness that presented with covid symptoms in the last couple of months. Only one of those was actually tested, so only she will appear as an official victim. Now,...

Re: New Rugby Coronavirus Laws

Some of this smells like the changes some SH types wanted anyway! Almost RL and maul restriction could be interesting 😳 Test on the morning of the game, including officials the only necessity IMO, the rest is window dressing. If players have already had it, green card status (as recent French and. C...

Re: Pat Howard Interview

Does it really matter whether it was Simon Cohen or Peter Tom who brought him back in? What matters is that he wrote a hard-hitting review that has spurred real positive change into the club. I think it matters simply in the context of the appalling slagging Cohen used to get on here, from some pos...
