Re: Dear Murphs

I attended a forum a few months ago, as did many others, in which the full coaching staff sat on the podium answering questions and giving their insights into the future of the club. At the time I came away impressed with what I'd heard that night. They all seemed to know what they were talking abo...

Re: Dear Murphs

The problem is there has been a problem for all to see since 2012-13 season, if you had eyes to see the experience disappearing and also noticed MOC's disuse of the Development players. For me, the writing was on the wall when our coaching team went down to 4, and from then on simply got compounded ...

Re: Wayne Barnes

I have a lot more respect for Wayne than most, having listened to him and others on RefLink and radio. He passes on the TMO most of the time, says 'No, I'm happy with it' etc., and doesn't often make bloopers compared to some other refs.

Re: Tigers vs Bath

Probably my last match at WR for a while, so a bit disappointed, but I also think some scoffers on here have scoffed enough and it would be nice to think they might rein it in. Some hope. :smt009

Re: Tigers vs Bath

Smurf says he's going to play the leavers and the youngsters! Feel unhappy with not turning out the strongest possible side?

Re: London Irish: an immorality tale?

Out of order? You may think so in your sheltered suburban set but you are certainly not of the contemporary world. The kind of high jinks I am referring to, definitely still goes on and much closer to home than you think. The fact that the lads don't broadcast it may be fooling you but I can assure...

Re: France - end of season round up.

Thx Robespierre. I always enjoy your updates. And experience envy at you living there! I’ll have to make do with some Provence rosé and some half decent weather in Staffs today. Only 15 more years of work....... Thanks Gg. There doesn't appear to be many of you who take an interest with French rugb...

Do people think Blommitijies will return?
If the Scarlets/Ospreys merger joke had occurred he'd have been a steal for pennies

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19

Once again I am in agreement with BFG, for me team spirit starts with young single guys going out on the town with their team mates, of course at a suitable time before a match or training, and with a blind eye being turned when necessary with discipline maintained. Imported outsiders brought in on...

Re: Smithy

Coupled with falling off the back of the roof of a small bike shelter I was building (only a couple of feet into a bush), the Toomua situation has led me to drink GIN, I HATE gin, but the Mrs was quaffing. :smt030 We are coming on Saturday purely to say thanks to Smithy, the bloke is a throwback to ...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

Simon Cohen's concern is that the role and scope of the rugby committee is no longer fit for purpose. He's right. Simon Cohen has great respect for the skills. competencies and awareness of the Board members and would like them to play a bigger role in producing success on the field as well as off ...

Club first. 23 with his attitude would be great.
Forwards with the Julian White spirit, backs with Smithy's. Title contenders!

Total :censored: disappointment, to say the least. Saw very few really classy flashes, and a lot of not much. Such promise, such disappointment.

Re: Weekend match thread

Really enjoyed the final and as always admired Sarries’ fitness levels and skills. 12 of the squad came through their academy. Congratulations to the whole club. Watched some of them come through at Bedford both Goode and Spencer were at Cambridge - too good for the level. How many players have the...
