Re: Heyneke Meyer

Meyer is a limited coach in my opinion, his teams remind me a lot of our current team where its very stale territory based play that sends you to sleep and relies on top draw kickers to even be remotely successful The style of play you describe would be a wonderful upgrade for Tigers at the moment!...

Re: London Irish vs Tigers

I don't really hold Murphy responsible for any of this, does his coaching appear to be up to scratch? No, but he was gifted the
job by the board when he clearly hasn't developed into a good enough coach yet. Ever since MOC left the first time around its been balls up after balls up on their part.

Re: London Irish vs Tigers

As somebody who would normally be labelled a happy clapper I have to say we are absolutely dreadful, defence is still average at best and our attack is so blunt. Can't remember the last time we scored from a backs move, especially from 1st phase like loaders try

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Nothing wrong with a business enterprise outside of rugby or one that handles players activities outside of their clubs. For example an income from commercial events, image rights, sponsorships etc. The problem arises when the companies profit is linked directly from the club or club’s owners. That...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

I think this could have opened Pandora's box, just a quick search on Companies House and Melani Nanai (Worcs), Jordan Taufua (Tigers), Sekope Kepu (London Irish) and Robert Du Preez (Sale) all have promotions companies that were set up in the last few months which coincides with their signings. The...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

I wonder if the full report will be published or just the punishment, I have to say a guilty verdict does potentially bring the integrity of the competition into question, for how long have Saracens been breaking the rules and why were they allowed to break the rules for that long. You then have the...

Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

Hearing that Saints have signed Kpoku for next season. Good business for them. Damn... I just hope Tigers target Isiekwe. He's got to fancy more game time and if Sarries have to reduce their spending he's out of contract. 2nd row is the last place we need to spend money IMO, Levanini, Spencer, Gree...

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

The most disappointing thing about this performance is that we looked to have fixed so many things in the game against Exeter in the prem cup and then we hit the prem and we have gone back to the same mistakes we made last season

Are we back to not having a TMO? Number of seatbelt tackles have been let go. Nice to see the consistency from the world cup.
The standard of officiating worries me on the whole, Barnes is the only prem ref that I think is good more often than not and now he's gone

Re: Leicester vs Saracens

Viljeon has an absolute siege gun of a boot. Tigers need to utilise that as much as possible. We have plenty of good kickers in the squad but none with a boot from hand like that for a fair while. Agreed he's been one of our more impressive backs both this game and last That said he does need to st...
