Re: Doom and Gloom
If Gloucester were to win the Challenge Cup, they would take the 8th English place in the Champions Cup....Tigers would then be in the Challenge Cup if they finish 8th! Ohhhhh and that would really be the final nail in the coffin for this season horribilus :smt010 Not if we keep playing like this! ...

Re: Doom and Gloom
On a slightly more positive note Exeter are thrashing Glos so by the end of the day hopefully our top 8 (makes me shudder to have such low expectations) will be confirmed and our place in the Champions Cup 2025. At least we shouldn't finish outside the top 8 if it continues this way... Not bothered...

Sorry that Whitley took flack from the fans, he is young but the question is why did he come over to the Crumbie and argue, he should have stayed away over in the middle? Presumably he came over to thank the fans for attending the game, copped an earful, and responded, as emotions were no doubt hig...

Re: Doom and Gloom
Perhaps a naive query, but here I go. What is Aled actually doing with the England set up when there is only planning to do? Is he visiting clubs to check on players - advise them? My point is, is there any way he could be re-hired as a part-time consultant? I thought he is employed as the England ...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
The thing that really struck me about the officiating yesterday was the sheer amount of Bristol knock ons, offsides and forward passes ignored by the officiators.

TBF on B how many on here complained about Wigglesworth and Ashton as dross signings? Fair point but they were old and experienced coming to the end of their careers but we're never dross Idk Ashton was dross at Sale, Wuss and quins tbf I remember every saying he was toxic and could ruin the team c...

That would be most welcome if
A) it happens
B) we sign quality players not dross

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Regrettably I have seen nothing recently to suggest that under this coach we will improve. Witness the same comments by supporters after every game. I don't blame the players. The way they play is an indication of how they are being coached - not very well from what I can see. I really think some p...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
I mean not much point in talking about the comings and going for next season until we know what is the actual squad surely? Well its not as if the signings of Perese and Smith are not known and all the leavers are unknown? Historically we usually announce like 2/3 or so signings at the end of seaso...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
I feel it’s pretty clear we spend up to the cap tbh During the premiership winning season we got lucky in that you had a decent amount of experience players all with no contracts anywhere Wigglesworth Murimurivalu Taute Montoya Moroni Ashton Saumaki Socino Burns All either had no other contracts, p...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
If Andrea has stated that we are spending up to the cap, then the presence of a Women’s team has absolutely no impact on that! Indeed she has stated that. but I fail to see the evidence of it given this seasons comings and goings and the fact that we were paid handsomely by the RFU for Borthwick an...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Dont want to get involved in politics , dont know a Tigers woman player's name , but do we spend money on them at the expense of quality men, under the guise of'diversity??' I’d have thought we only have 1 pot of money that everything has to come from. The idea of running a women’s team is a great ...
