Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
The biggest gripe with the Mike Brown take is that I see Jasper get hit like that 10 times a game. But no punishment is given because he’s a hard git. The end result shouldn’t be a determining play. It needs to be reffed equally Van Rensenburg milked that penalty to perfection and acted like he had...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
As ever, many people are fixating on the last 10 (or even last 2) minutes. For me, the first 70 minutes contained some of the most cohesive periods of our entire season. In attack, we maintained field position and thus pressure until they had a player binned. We then capitalised on that period and ...

The replacements today just added nothing for me. You can blame Whiteley all you want but it was obviously the instructions he’d got. So don’t blame the player. I think he probably slices the kick. If it goes deep into the Bristol 22 with Steward in pursuit then it's an aerial battle and Bristol ca...

Why did we re sign whitely? I would love to know if anyone can come up with 1 good reason. Why is Carley a ref at this level? I give up on watching this dross. I have been a Tigers supporter for 60 years but this year may well be my last :smt013 Some on here think he is brilliant and he is demonstr...

Re: Doom and Gloom
:smt026 7 Agree about the turmoil but it is hardly the clubs fault if England take all of their coaches. Regarding churn quite a few sides have made wholesale changes which often happens when a new head coach is appointed even Exeter and Saracens have made many changes and they have a settled coachi...

Re: Doom and Gloom
I appreciate this is not the point of the thread but I just think we've lost (for a wide ranging and multi faceted set of reasons) many of our best players this past 2-3 years and replaced them with bang average. As noted on other threads, come the summer we'll have lost Genge, Dolly, Nephi, Green,...

Senior academy is 18-24 and under 50K a year. Tom Manz is still only 22 this season so technically could have another 2 years in the dev squad Best guess when our new attack coach will join us? Ordinarily would be July but I wonder if it could be sooner? Prob in the off season, as he's still got hi...

In my ignorance I wrongly assumer Curtis Langden was a product of Saints Academy but in reality he was signed from Montpelier having been priorly at Worcester and Sale beforehand for some 6yrs. Must say that prior to his time as Saints I had never heard of him.

I disagree. If you've got multiple threats in the pack it becomes very difficult for the opposition to target your breakdown threat and mark them on game. The Irish national team being a great example of this where so many of them are great over the ball but also physical on both sides of the ball....
