Re: Jordan Taufua

According to Tigers tweet it will not be before the end of the world cup. Yes he will be knackered and burnt out so I would be astonished if you will see him play for Tigers this year.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

Toomua was vaunted as a world class centre that would transform our toothless attack. Unfortunately he did not demonstrate sufficient evidence of the former in order to accomplish the latter.

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

I haven't logged into the Tiger's Forum for quite a long time - but now I have, I realise how much I've missed the pro England bias! When they lose, the reasons generally are in the following order: 1 - bad refereeing 2 - biased refereeing 3 -opponents cheating 4 - bad luck How about trying for a c...

Re: Are we still a family club.

The only reasons it's gin and cocktails is because Tigers are sponsored by Burleigh's Gin, I'd imagine there could be a couple of bottles of the People's Captain too. In which case Burleigh's should pay for it, afterall despite the meet the new players hype it's essentially promoting and flogging t...

Re: Are we still a family club.

The game at this level have moved on. Every other post when it comes to the business side of things seems to want how it was, but those times have gone and if you want it maybe try looking at some of the lower level local clubs. This post legitimately asks "are Tigers still a family club", so in es...

Re: Are we still a family club.

The club likes to push the spin that it is family friendly because it generates income. This latest pay to meet new players event is the latest iteration of the depths the club is now prepared to descend into in order to milk supporters for our hard earned cash. No doubt they will be selling VIP pos...

Re: Howard to mentor Murphy

Please explain why you think it is short sighted? The way I see it is that changing coach after coach over the past few years didn't particularly work very well, and contributed to last seasons relegation struggle, and so retaining some continuity and sticking with a coach already in place and now ...

Incredibly short-sighted. Agreed it was incredibly short-sighted to appoint a totally inexperienced head coach. Please explain why you think it is short sighted? Re: Howard to mentor Murphy

Are you a fan because their ex Tigers or because you think there talented coaches (which there not) All these Ex Tiger coaches who have zero experience only know one way how to play and that is what they were coached to play as Tigers players. No wonder we are struggling badly as they just coach th...

Re: Howard to mentor Murphy

Simples, appoint a proven world class DOR not a totally inexperienced Ex Tiger (now mentored by an Ex Tiger) whose only qualification for the job remains just that. What and replace them again if their first season isn't good enough? One year? How many years as "skills" coach? The truth is our skil...
