Re: Borthwick

Ok, Murphy has been a good servant to the club but does he merit being appointed Director of Rugby? The answer is clearly no! Well the board incompetently decided that he meritted appointment to Head Coach after his spectacular success as skills coach. It therefore comes as no surprise that as he h...

Re: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

For me, Ben Kay needs to deice on whether he wants be a BT Pundit or a board member, not both. In my view it has to be the former. Spot on. I make no comment - none - on Ben Kay's ability or performance either as a BT pundit or Board Member... Someone needs to explain to me why he can't 'do both'. ...

Re: Will anyone want to buy the club??

Silence is golden I am beginning to think that the longer this sale goes on the harder it will be to attract any buyers. So this may now require an urgent and significant investment from the current incumbents to arrest the slide.

Re: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Thank you for this list as I for one clearly had no idea of all its members! As Mr Cohen is also a Rugby Board member then he is also responsible for Rugby matters. :smt023

Re: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Business performance was actually profit of £4m. The £1.9m is actually operating profit which is before things like the Pemership windfall last season, but does include things like depreciation. Why would you want a CEO to have control of a £20m turnover business and the appointment of coaches and ...

Re: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

I have seen and heard Mr Cohen talk at numerous supporters events and I must say he is a very skilled orator and shrewd operator. Indeed, if you knew nothing about our club he would have convinced you that everything is hunky dory and the future under Murphy is rosy and assured. However, that said, ...

If Borthwick (or someone) isn't coming before the 6N it may be too late by then.
Well if Borthwick is joining us, apart from a well earned break I cannot see any reason why he has not yet done so apart from having to complete the six nations.

Re: Tomas Lavanini

We've had brilliant Argentinian players before - why should Lavanini be any different ? You missed my point completely, its nothing to do with him not being a brilliant argentinian player. The fact is it has everything to do with the fact that English is not his first language and he is on a very s...

Re: Tomas Lavanini

I guess the reason that Lavanini has only been on the bench is due to his language difficulties. Basically he needs a Spanish speaker to help him out on the pitch and as Gigena is always on the bench, Tomas must remain on the bench until Gigena take the field. Given the fact that Tigers knew that la...

Re: London Irish vs Tigers

... we Struggled to break the oppositions defensive line and constantly moved laterally or lost ground in doing so. We are so predictable and the need to change tactic was clear to see. There surely need to be a plan B, where we kick for field position and a line out deep in the oppositions half. F...

Re: Good Players Made To Look (Less Than) Ordinary

The halfbacks are key to how a team plays and yesterday showed that we badly need our internationals back, we created nothing even though we had plenty of ball we just failed to use it effectively, a lot of this failure is I believe due to lack of confidence. [/quote Well we have had a lack of conf...
