A coincidence that Farrell leaves in the same year as the Vunipolas? I imagine their last contract on relegation was lucrative, unrepeatable and now expired

Re: Leinster mind games begin? - Champions Cup (A) - Saturday 06th April 2024 - KO: 8:00pm
Think that is a bit harsh. Luke McGrath knocked himself out via his attempted tackle on Kurt Lee Arendse. I was surprised that he was only yellow carded, should have been red. Luke will hopefully live a long life beyond rugby which he’d wish to be a healthy one. I’ll be very disappointed in the med...

Leicester Tigers boss Dan McKellar has moved to strengthen his squad for next season with the double signing of NSW Waratahs outside centre Izaia Perese and Wales loosehead Nicky Smith. Perese, 26, who was a member of Eddie Jones Wallabies World Cup squad, has now signed for Tigers and will be join...

Personally, I'd go with country of birth only. There are current players who'd miss out, I know, but that just makes room for others. I like the passport idea though.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
It's what you would expect when 2/3 of a starting XV and close to 2/3 of a squad are playing together week in week out all season long. If you think about it it's criminal that Ireland and Ireland don't clean up everything domestic, European and Internationally. It's a huge failure on their part wh...

I’d hope it’s about sponsorship, not share ownership. No controlling interest, no conflict

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
I wouldn’t be surprised to see more turnover at Sarries. The long contracts signed to keep players there during there relegation are now ending, hence Farrell’s move, and with the Wray connection loosening further it seems that change is underway.

Re: Tigers v Quins (A) - Premiership - Friday 26th January 2024 - KO- 19:45
1st Quins try should have been a penalty to us at the ruck. Poor box kick resulted from pressure from an off side player, who never retreated behind the ruck before charging Whiteley. So, really, Quins were lucky to be so close.

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Champions Cup - Saturday 20th January 2024 - KO: 3-15pm
Leinster by 11-20 Unfortunately I agree, we are not getting anything out of this one. Hoping for one of those gritty performances when we scrape a win but when you are basically playing the Ireland national team (not sour grapes or complaining, just a statement of fact) I do not hold out our chance...
