Re: Freddie Burns coming back to Tigers?
Yes Ford,Burns,Henry makes way more sense than Ford,Burns,Bonilla Agreed but apparently Henry is off at the end of the season and a new contract is being discussed with Bonilla, so most likely it will be Ford, Burns and Bonilla, if Burns were to re-join. Pretty vague rumour with Henry allegedly unh...

Re: Ealing beat Saracens
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/jan/18/rugby-union-saracens-lucy-wray-interview Sounds like a sales pitch to potential sponsors. Am I alone in thinking that no sides should be playing friendly matches during lockdown? Professional, competitive matches are one thing but these are meaningless ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope
Montoya will be a good addition to the squad imo. Does anyone know if he has a 'non-overseas player' qualification? Thinking of the PRL overseas player rule, he joins what is now quite a list of potential 'overseas players'. This, you would assume, is considered carefully before signings are made, ...

Re: Tigers v Bayonne - European games suspended
Not a lot of options, to be honest. Abandon the home and away nature of the pools and move on.

Elite sport is all getting lumped together over here, much more of this and you can kiss goodbye to the rest of the season, never mind 2 weeks!

Re: Tigers v Bayonne - European games suspended
Maybe Premiership Rugby felt that, in light of the growing criticism of the behaviour of elite sportsmen and their fans at the weekend (i.e. football), it might be a good idea to keep their heads down for a couple of weeks.

Re: Tigers v Bayonne
Still nothing definitive on this. Watching Rugby Tonight, it would seem the clubs, French league and government keep batting this around. Testing has been altered to suit their demands, but there still seems to be a problem for the clubs. It seems to me they can't afford to just make the decision on...

Re: Gallagher Premiership Round 6
We still haven’t been allocated our 4 points. A long shot, I know, but if the European games get canned for next week, might we see the local derby played then?

Tigers v Bayonne - European games suspended
So, a bit early to start this thread I know, but I thought it'd be worth getting one going.
Basically, what is going on? Multiple reports around, that Bayonne have pulled out of European games but nothing on EPCR and now we have a ref! What the flippin' heck!
