Re: Are we still a family club.

Couldn't agree more with John's post sadly. I also remember days when mixing with players was part and parcel of the Club's ethos and without a prohibitive fee.

Re: Racing 92 v Toulouse - Manu

:smt038 Watching the game and the quality. Truly astonishing that Manu decided to stay at Welford Road. This season has been a disaster, and it's been coming for years. BUT - if we can avoid relegation and IF we can get the recruitment right for next season. Well perhaps we've reasons to be optimist...

Re: Mike Ford is joining/WRU block Edwards bid/Glynn getting sacked

Should we bring someone in? Yes. Should it be M. Ford? At this time and given who else isn't available, yes. Should the board have done this sooner? Undoubtedly yes! Oh, and if Glynn is getting 'moved' what does that say for our recruitment for next season? :smt017 :smt017 I don't think recruitment...

Re: New Coach?

Why o why is this rearing it’s head again. Yes mistakes have been made previously but Geordan needs till the end of next season before he is judged. If that means European challenge cup for a season then so be it. I’m sure both Saracens and Exeter have played in that comp and they don’t change thei...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

It's all very well saying go out and sign the best but the reality today is for players there are more attractive options. The best players, if looking at this country, will look at chances of winning silverware, a big pay packet or preferably both. Currently we cannot offer either in comparison to ...

Only round 4? You may have had a point if it wasn't for the fact that we have been this poor for at least 4 years!!

For the first time ever I have seriously thought about not getting a season ticket again - if they can't be bothered to even tackle why should I be bothered to pay to watch this

Re: MOC GONE

It had to happen after seemingly losing the dressing room and the realisation on Saturday that virtually could do better as coach than that. Relieved it hasn't dragged on til the new year as I thought it might. I suspect Murph will get a shot to make the job unless another worldwide search is to lau...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part Deux

Don't believe all you read good or bad, it would not be good policy to announce that a players operation on his right knee was expected to be ok so that opposition would know where to target their attentions. On match day fifteen blokes take the pitch wearing a Tigers shirt, there can be many reaso...

Eastmond is potentially a great signing. Whilst gutted to see MT go, the fact that he will still be here for he season gives the Club a great chance to plan another future signing :smt038
