Re: 6 Nations apathy
great game as always with owens in charge..but i felt he went too far in his non refreeing england were 10yards offside from scrums and rucks and the french always had a couple of players on the wrong side of the ruck slowing the ball down...suppose both teams played the ref..

Re: Halfpenny to join Toulon
probably sextons bad experience is influencing the leinster players...and some extra cash of course. papers here are saying heaslip is on 1.5 million euro for 3 years...is that an average wage in the premier league?

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution
well for starters you cant believe a word from austin healy and dayglo who are the mouths of bt..and the 4m is not really very much to offer the welsh clubs when the players might not see euro action for a long time plus face relegation.....and what about lancaster/RFU concerned that english players...

Re: Tigers Vs. Sarries
just remember this match when you lot are criticising the irish teams for rotating players around the heinekan cup matches ...the french teams are even worse for fielding weak teams away from home..

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution
its about time the RFU became a shareholder in premier league and financed the clubs thereby centrally contracting the players ...the owners of the clubs are losing money and are driven to take desperate measures like this power grab which will keep on resurfacing every couple of years.....

Re: Ireland v NZ
couple of things went against ireland in the end sextons penalty 4mins to go and being penalised for not staying on their feet 20 secs to go even though they had the ball and the two goes for the conversion ..what drama,, brillant.

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution
its probably too late now .but if the RFU had brought the clubs under their wing in the mid 90s like other unions except france then we wouldent be having the clubs stirring things up on a constant basis...and as for tv coverage are bt vision going to give more money than sky to the heino teams?..

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution
don"t agree , you cant ever let the clubs take charge because they will always try to bring things around to suit themselves and that fairness is dirty word.I also cannot see sky melting away and letting a micky mouse operation like bt vision take over ..is this really about getting more money ...
