I didn't see any mention of that in the article? Do we know any details?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
https://archive.ph/yzQ2e This has big implications on the squad espcially given the supposed squad limits Indeed! Interesting to note how England will have a say on centrally contracted players training, for example if Borthwick wants Chessum to play 6 not lock because he wants Martin, Chessum and ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I think many people underestimate how difficult it is to keep the ball for 3 minutes in those circumstances without infringing or making an error. I'm curious, how early would people advocate "sticking it up the jumper" for when defending a slim lead? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? How early do y...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
I'm not inclined to blame the head coach for everything that happens on the pitch, but I can't imagine for a second that anyone's immediate instinct is to kick away posession from the opposition half like that unless it's an attacking grubber kick or chip ahead for a runner coming through at pace. ...

Re: Billy Vunipola arrested
Ok hypothetical... IF Montpellier pull out of their deal for him IF we assume our squad as is (ie no more back row signings) IF we had cap space (at a possibly cut price deal) Would we be interested in him on a 1 year deal? In that scenario I'd take him, 100%. I doubt Montoellier will pull out thou...

Re: Doom and Gloom
Your absolutely right I hadn’t realised he’d been here that long I thought he’d come in in 21/22 but that was just a coaching change. But my original point was about Bothwick removing Mcginty who in my opinion did our best recruitment in years with his agent since which it fell off a cliff. So is a...

Re: Doom and Gloom
Some people are very quick to say how bad we are but for me it is fine margins and poor discipline. We have narrowly lost numerous games this season that easily could have gone either way. Win even just a few of those and we are top 4. I often read about how clueless we are and how bad our attackin...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if there's a cull at the end of next season. Particularly around the backrow as we look to refine what we need with the next generation coming through. We have seen Carnduff already, hopefully Ilione completes the step up alongside Josh Manz and Chessum Jnr. That would ...

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Away from our performance, what Bristol are doing is nothing short of revolutionary in the current English game. Pretty much every other DoR in the land has their team box kicking between their try line and the 10m. Informed by data, so we're told. 30 kicks in 30mins in Bath v Sarries? Bristol were...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
A lot of forwards imo are in their last contact now, too many players who don’t bring impact or have lost their old impact. Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if there's a cull at the end of next season. Particularly around the backrow as we look to refine what we need with the next generation coming thr...

Re: Tigers social post about threats
Completely agree.
So disappointed by the result, but personal abuse or threats are not acceptable, and are far more disappointing than the result.

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Bristol were awful for 65 minutes, gave us so much attacking ball by trying to run from their own line, and we should have been 40 points up, not 19. Discipline has cost us again, as has lack of accuracy in attack. We managed to make Lahiff look like a good player. That's quite an astounding achieve...
