Yep, we lost 3 out of 4 while half the team was away at the world cup, then won 6 out of 8 in the prem with wins against all the teams that are getting the plaudits - Sarries, Bath and Saints.
Back to 3 losses out of 4 since the 6N.

I've only seen the clip of Kinder's try, but by all accounts he was excellent against a decent senior professional side. Give him a go, what's the worst that can happen? Do you have a link to the clip? Not sure if this will work... https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6hKbe9Mc1x/?igsh=dzNpNmtrY3E2NnFj

Re: Champions and Challenge Cup Semi-finals - 2024
Marler is indeed an intelligent man, but he gets a bit too carried away at times with the "rugby banter" and his self created wind up merchant persona. It might work occasionally, but this is far from the first time that he, and his teammates, have seen it backfire catastrophically. The he...

Really good performance by Saints, they just needed to be more accurate in the first half.
The two "Irish" Kiwis were the difference.

I've heard that even Ben Youngs' critics think he's still "of a decent standard" so I reckon he's got plenty left in him.

The fourth official also noted that both sides had behaved with "notably poor values" during the game.
That was pretty obvious. Way too much backchat to the referee, but he seemed to enjoy it.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
True they were awful for his first 2 seasons and are likely to end up with as many trophies as Tigers this We're only in his second season, and he took them from bottom to 8th in his first. Apologies so less clubs and big improvements from 1st to 2nd season and Bath were arguably in in a worse posi...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
This is one of the advantages that rich owners bring, that the salary cap doesn't cover. The likes of Bath and Bristol can pay enough to tie down head coaches for 6+ years and ensure consistency, avoiding the turmoil that we seem to go through repeatedly.

I struggle to see what games you have really watched him in? He comfortable been a better scrummager than Van Wyk IMO, and he's a better carrier than Cronin. IMO he's one of the few front rowers that seem to be a decent trucking carrier. He's made 15 appearances this season... Van Wyk's scrummaging...

I was expecting to see more of Whitcombe this year, but when he has come on he really hasn't impressed. He seems to struggle in the scrum and doesn't add much in the loose. If he wants more game time he needs to start taking his chances when he gets them. I'd actually say Cronin has been good in rec...

I was very confident we'd beat Gloucester.
I was cautiously optimistic against Saints.
I was convinced we'd defeat Bristol (even after 60 minutes).
I don't think we've got a hope in hell of beating Sale.
So I'm guessing that means we're going to win...

Would agree on Hurd, I think the Scotland call up got as all a bit over-excited about his potential when the reality is that he was pretty much the last professional Scottish tight head who was available to be called up.
Hopefully he still has time to progress.

Ok, the kick did ultimately lead to the winning score, but I'd be asking how they got into that position on the scoreboard. What about the other 2 tries ? They should never have been in a position to win that game at that point, so letting a prop in for 2 tries before that would be concerning me mo...
