Re: Kit Watch
New kits are ok, there is a lot going on with the home shirt what with the hoops, the advertising and the collar type effect around the neck. It's quite a clever design though and very modern looking for a hooped shirt, no easy task. All things considered I think Kooga have done quite a good job on ...

Re: Matt Toomau
As expected Matt has been included in Australia's training squad for the Rugby Championship. This situation has the potential to cause disharmony within a squad. A foreign player waltzing into and English club on top money whilst still not harming his international career does make a complete mocke...

Re: Sam Underhill
Nothing against the bloke or his nationality but whatever individual opinion on the player rule it is ironic that the RFU impose this rule and went and got their new coach from abroad. It didn't do the likes of Cockerill, Baxter, Voldermort or I'd even go as far to say McCall any good by plying thei...

Re: Sam Underhill
I agree with the OP simply because of seeing the English Premiership with so many foreign players playing in it whilst English players are dictated to in this way. In this day and age with the rules on residency and free movement the way they are then I see this rule on not selecting players playing...

I think they might struggle at the scrum without Thacker.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Even if Underhill can qualify for Wales soon, I wouldn't worry. If he wants to play for the country of his birth, his own country then he will move to England soon enough. If not then he doesn't want to play for England that much and I wouldn't want someone like that anyway. This is why I love this...

Re: Wasps sign Kyle Eastmond
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/36701034 Wasps have also picked up Nick De Luca, could be a shrewd signing in what will be a very tough season with plenty of competition. With the already named names and the likes of Dan Robson, Jimmy Gopperth, De Luca, Tagicakibau and Rob Miller they have a...

Re: Matt Toomau
Skin_and_Muscle Which ones? No disrespect meant as everyone has their own view but if it's needed spelling out then there is little point in doing so. ellis9 Well done on making your original statement look not so ridiculous by posting an even more ridiculous one! I completely understand team sport...

Re: Matt Toomau
You clearly don't fully appreciate team sports ellis9! These are mostly top players and morale can be that bit extra needed to turn a team of also-rans into Champions. The real stars of last season were the uncomplicated players, the players who go about their business with minimum fuss and can ofte...

Re: Matt Toomau
tigerburnie Matt will arrive when his contract has finished in Oz, nothing anyone over here can have any influence over. Please continue the toy throwing, it's hilarious. I wouldn't expect you to say much different tigerburnie. Of course it was different though on the one occasion you splashed out ...

Re: Matt Toomau
Past few seasons TIGERS have not performed in the early parts of the season and have timed their run, and form, post Christmas. In MHO it had served us pretty well and therefore Toomau's arrival would coincide with this late surge. However squads have got stronger and the season could be over by th...

Re: Aus v England,2nd Test - Goldwash time ??
I think Australia really rode their luck in Rugby World Cup. Everything they needed went their way in terms of players staying fit, resurgence of Giteau, quarter final vs Scotland, scrum clicked for first time in donkeys years. I predict a period of Aus falling down the pecking order for next coupl...

Re: Aus v England,2nd Test - Goldwash time ??
It didn't matter who Lancaster selected, certain posters on here openly refer to him as a 'clot' and the new captain as 'Dullan'. They may or may not be the same person, but the evidence is there for all to see. It hardly seems to matter to these posters that for all his failings, SL's legacy to EJ...
