Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

First loss to Glaws at home since when, 2007? Winning by 5 points with less than 5 minutes left and still lost? JVP looked good when he came on but the rest of the team looked jaded and tired. Tigers just not at the races.

Re: Tigers v Irish v The Ref?

So it's the ref, the number of injuries and the crowd's fault. Any more excuses? The length of the grass? The temperature of the half-time tea? Tigers were not good enough on the day, against an Irish side that wanted the win that bit more. How many more of these substandard performances and embarra...

Re: radio leicester sport live

Interestingly, I went to the Leicester page of the BBC website to listen to Radio Leicester and got the now familiar apology that for whetever reason the commentary wasn't available. I went to this page http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/13629860 and, lo and behold, there were Bleddyn and Stve Johnson on ...

As northerntiger has pointed out, the quote about being fluid was actually in the article. If Noddy555 would like to borrow my glasses then he only needs to ask.

Re: Tigers v Wasps

Unlucky? I don't think so. On the day the side on the pitch wasn't anywhere near good enough to overcome a pretty average Wasps side. Yes, there were players missing/unavailable, but that's why we have a squad, isn't it? If a player is good enough to be in the squad, he should be good enough to be o...

Re: Referees

The problem I have with blaming referees in professional rugby union, is that it is a sport in which players, teams and coaches deliberately set out to bend the rules, play the referee, or put another way plain cheat. That's the nature of the game. I can't think of another major sport where a singl...
