Re: Retirements
I took a friend to the game today, who was surprised at how short the turf was - he appreciated the 'cushioning' of longer grass when he was playing. I think Tigers' turf has been cut really short all this season, and with the ground as hard & dry as it was today, this won't help on the injury f...

Re: Now that we've all had a moan about the new home shirt......
Why oh why doesn't the club consult the fans? We've got such a great fanbase, the designers could produce 3 draft designs and see which one gained more support - after all, we're the ones forking out to buy and wear it. I predict that the latest one, which is seemingly designed to make our guys look...

George Ford?
Did anyone else see Mike Averis's comment in today's Guardian re Peter Stringer coaching at Bath: "Peter Stringer is delighted to have two proteges to mentor at Bath...First there is Tom Heathcote...and coming shortly George Ford."

Re: Next Years Season Tickets
Has anyone done research into whether all Premiership clubs are equally affected? If we're unfairly treated we'd have more cause for complaint, and better reasons to re-negotiate. I too have problems attending evening and Sunday games, and therefore lose out but will stick with my season ticket as a...

Re: Handling Criticism
I reckon we all take criticism more to heart than praise.
I reckon Brian Moore reads this site cos when I & others defended Manu Tuilagi against Moore's unfair criticism, he moderated his comments.

Handling Criticism
I read this today: "Every baseball team could use someone who knows how to play every position, never strikes out, and never makes an error. The only problem is, it's hard to make him put down his hotdog and come out of the spectator stands!" This quip was followed up with the following: o...

I have a feeling RFU will only listen if we present statistics to show Barnes' bias.

Re: Tigers Catering Feedback Forum-as at August 2012.
I too am responding for the first time, as I was v disappointed with the amount of queueing and disorganisation in Captain's Bar at half-time. The outside bar was also slow. I missed our try through queueing for so long - although my mates said my absence probably brought them luck! I agree re more ...

Re: Have we lost our way?
Have we lost our way? I wonder if we're not playing for the shirt any more? I don't know that I'd play my best in turquoise! A bit like England vs Australia in outfits looking like plums and custard! Surely there's an extra dimension when you pull on your club's shirt? England and Tigers have great ...

Re: Glaws match
Wondered about starting a new thread: "It wouldn't have happened in Johnno's day." I don't think he'd have let us come away from a 13-man opposition with so little?

LOVED the rugby clips at the start, but can't see a Tigers' shirt anywhere! Where are you hiding??

Re: Are the Tuilagis a liability?
I agree with Yellow Balaclava Hunter: all the Tuilagis have been a great asset to Tigers as a family. Ok, mistakes get made, by everyone, but when they run out onto that pitch, they give of their best. It's ungrateful for all Alex has done for the club, when we're saying goodbye and thank you to him...

Re: Opinions on the new kit after seeing it in action?
I posted on match feedback page, that I think the narrow stripes make players look narrower and less intimidating which could lead to more tackles, also, were missed passes because they found it harder to spot each other? Sideways on, the stripes break up players' outlines and I can imagine problems...
