Re: BRISTOL vs TIGERS - Sat 27 Feb 21 (1300)
As an extra, Simmons very impressive in a brief appearance on the wing- it would be great to see him get some game time in the Championship this season I think (with Tigers win stocks pretty stacked).

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021
What team are people hoping/expecting? Personally would go with 1. De Bruin 2. Montoya 3. Cole 4. Lavanini 5. Green 6. Wells 7. Reffell 8. Brink 9. Wigglesworth 10. Henry 11. Porter 12. Scott 13. Moroni 14. Van wyk 15. Steward 16. Youngs, 17. Leatigaga, 18. Heyes 19. Henderson, 20. Wallace 21. JVP,...

Re: BRISTOL vs TIGERS - Sat 27 Feb 21 (1300)
Promising signs certainly. Impressed by Chessum, Porter, Heyes and Reffell. Moroni was fantastic today, love the niggle he provides and when some more attacking structure is in place I think he will be absolutely class. Whitcombe and White also looked good off the bench. Not to repeat the point abou...

Re: BRISTOL vs TIGERS - Sat 27 Feb 21 (1300)
Based on selection vs. Quins I wonder if we may see a few more players "rested" or "rotated" this week? I would certainly be in favour of seeing 3 or 4 players miss one game rather than 15 changes and a drubbing. Presuming Wigglesworth and Wiese missed the game vs. Quins due to ...

Re: 20th Feb 2021 - Home vs Wasps
One of the best performances yet for me, disappointing not to get the TBP but a focus on winning needs to be the priority in the short term. In the Cockers' years claiming LBPs after poor performances on the road and TBPs at home was something that we were relatively successful at (at least from mem...

Re: Best Tigers lineup (Since the Restart)
Lots of youngsters and new signings have advanced their cases and really impressed since the restart IMO. Most notably: Wallace, Martin, Leatigaga, Potter, Porter, Henry, Reffell and Steward Nadolo and Scott obviously have lots to offer and are high quality additions. I’m also keen to see more from:...

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20
Picking the strongest 23 possible vs. Sale and Saints is a no brainer for me in preparation for Castres, with a genuine 2nd XV playing midweek vs. Wasps (under orders to create selection headaches and earn places of course). Based on what I’ve seen thus far I’d select: Genge, Youngs, Cole Lavanini, ...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Confirmed here- http://www.newcastlefalcons.co.uk/news/ ... le-falcons
Suspect this means we may well see two sevens in the backrow fairly often next season- good news for Will Evans' prospects of game time as well.

Re: Team for Stade?
Well it's the middle of the week and we've not got a thread yet about the potential starting team/squad for Sunday. Cockers said he would pick his best team, so here goes; 1. Ayerza 2. Youngs 3. Cole 4. Kitchener 5. Fitzgerald 6. Croft 7. McCaffrey 8. Pearce 9. Youngs 10.Burns 11.Goneva 12.Smith 13...

Re: 2015/16 Squad/Contracts/Rumours Thread Part 2
Four sets of brilliant news yesterday- the starting backline and squad depth in the backs is going to be brilliant next year! And it may be a bit like Sarries for my liking but I am enjoying the #MagicMondays... To think that Mat Tait could well be on the bench when all the options are fit and avail...

Re: Teams up v Saints
I'm not quite sure what Freddie could have done about their three trys :smt017 . Two were from driving lineouts and one was from a dropped ball by OTY which resulted in North running in from 80m. Freddie nailed three vital penalties which won us the game (two were long range and one was high pressu...

Re: Teams up v Saints
Best 20 minutes of the season followed by 55 very mediocre minutes but at least the game was won! A deserved MOTM for McCaffrey, I also think Croft is looking better whenever he plays. Honourable too for Smith, Youngs x. 2, De Chaves and Fitzgerald. It was slightly concerning how things regressed wh...

Re: Treviso.
IMO (Provided Logo is added to the squad): Logo, Youngs, Balmain De Chaves (as others has said he deserves it after Sat), Kitchener Croft, Pearce, McCaffrey (although LM will need a rest soon- think he is the only player to have appeared in every game!!) Harrison, Burns Smith, Manu Thompstone, Tait,...

Re: Team for Sarries
Decent looking side, hugely impressive bench- if we can be within 5-10 points with 30 minutes to go then an LBP is definitely achieveable but unlikely. As others have said season is a marathon not a sprint and as long as Tigers beat Saints next week and get a home QF in Europe then the decision is v...
