Re: Attendance numbers

They definitely have. The Stoop can only hold about 12k-15k, so they'd have to play all 24 matches at home to get anywhere near that total if the Twickenham matches weren't included. Worth pointing out that Quins played 2 games at Twickenham instead of the stoop as part of the normal season That’s ...

If the ref thinks that Porter was reckless he clearly never watched Lewis Moody play.

Everyone is entitled to their view of course, mine is that it was never a red card.

Re: Clermont

Hi, we have been twice, the first time we got really cheap flights to Limoges and hired a car and drove to Clermont-Ferrand, we stayed in a two star hotel in Montferrand (the old town), we had a fabulous time mixed with the local fans, only a 15 minute walk to the stadium and a 30 minute walk the ci...

I’m watching Quinn’s vExeter game running about 30 mins late.
Decisions all going Quinn’s way, Tempest seems blind to any Quinn’s infringements.

Re: Connacht (A) - 15th January 2022

I remember some years ago, when the capacity at Welford road was 16800 ish, the Tigers having to ask season ticket holders to give up their tickets to away supporters (Munster or Leinster I think) to comply with the allocation rules in the European competition.

Do those rules still apply?

I know where you are coming from, but I think this would just make more complications in an already complicated sport, the number of times I have heard people say, oh I don’t watch rugby, I don’t understand it.

How could we get pulled for not striking the ball in the scrum, 95 % of the time the ball is put into the 2 nd row totally bypassing the hooker.

If we are going to call them the pork pie squad then I move that JvP is the different gravy that comes with them... Pork pie with gravy! 😱😱 I come from a family of pork pie (and sausage) producers in St Helens ....yes I know RL territory.... and having tried all combinations, my favourite is salad ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

Average UK salary is £26k. I think players need to get a grip. Argument about career only lasting 10-12 years is false, as most go onto something else via connections they have made while playing. The game doesn’t owe them a lifetimes income in 10 years. It's not just the short career span. It's th...
