Re: Just returned my Sarries ticket to the ticket office
I've just been and looked at the Heinz label. It is a plain simple and only subtly changed in my lifetime. The assumption behind it seems to be a covert understanding that it's hardly worth making grand statements about biggest or best because everyone knows that anyway and to do so would cheapen th...

Re: George Chuter
I'm fairly sure I remember a young and rampaging George scoring a hat trick for us against decent opposition, although in a second tier competition. Always a great competitor, strong, aggressive but essential fair. A great role model and hopefully can find somewhere to pass the skills and attitude o...

Geordan at 17
Saturday's match marks the 17th year, bar a day, since Geordan Murphy made his home debut for us. I know this because my trip to the ground was disrupted by a long stop at the LRI to visit my newborn daughter. The match was against Sale, and we won. I was already familiar with Mr Murphy from his awa...

Re: Please note Tigers v Wasps game moved
"Me for, it comes down to commitment. I buy a season tickets accepting that fixtures will change and because of that i may have re arrange work or family things, or maybe even miss a few. But that’s the way it is." Agreed. It's about commitment. In my case my commitment to family, who sust...

Re: Please note Tigers v Wasps game moved
"Unfortunately it is part of supporting the Tigers, if you want to attend games and watch one of the most successful teams in the UK play at the biggest rugby only ground in the country then you have to accept that fixtures will be moved and KO's changed for a number of reason." I Don't ha...

Thanks Bluntiger.
Did you and Mrs B keep up your membership? I believe this gives access to second team games.

Re: Please note Tigers v Wasps game moved
Sorry, fleabane, if my high horse obstructed your view of my point, and of the supine and swaybacked camel aside it in my figurative stable. My daughter works Sundays. The decision to not buy a season ticket is made on the number of Sunday games. I may not attend alone, but will seek company before ...

Re: Please note Tigers v Wasps game moved
Appallingly poor customer service.
Once a ticket is sold every effort should be made to deliver the event as per contract.
There is not even an implied apology here. This is treating customers with contempt. It's not soccer, y'know, and I didn't tolerate contempt when I was watching that game.

Re: NO TRAINS NORTH OF LEICESTER TONIGHT!
If you consider that the majority of rail users are business commuters, whose transport costs are subsidised by tax deduction, you might see how far the rail companies are from needing to consider the recreational users of the network. This also helps explain how holiday periods are targetted for di...

Re: Ulster making Stains look second-rate currently.
Just to spoil the schadenfreude; Ulster made us look absolute rubbish last year at about this stage. It may be that Mallinder is no more, or less, vulnerable than Cocky.
I was very depressed by our game at Ulster.

Re: Change of match day? Am I stupid?
So thats another match missed, and one more disappointment
It all becomes part of the decision about how much value for money the season ticket represents. I would certainly not buy a ticket in advance for a music event on an undetermined date.

Re: Over 20,000!
It is entirely possible that an audience member is t0o engrossed with the unrolling narrative of violence and exhilaration to distract themselves with ritualized noise making, and displays of waving and jumping behaviour. I am often muttering my engagement with quiet obscenities, too engrossed in th...

I tried to love him, but the memories of his Bath years were too strong.

I wrote 'Post to be kept vacant' on my slip.
Democratically no elections which have a less than 50% turn out should be allowed to stand.
and I too am fed up with voting for politicians to represent parties. I want someone to represent me.
End of rant, except
no WR, no WC
