Re: Teams up vs Bath

Bath had Henry Thomas, Nick Auterac, Tom Dunn and Max Lahiff all missing from their front row and Gengey still failed to make any kind of impact.

Why was that Gengey?. Isi it because you're vastly overrated?.

Re: Tigers v Bath

We never win at WR, So not a big surprise really. We have Gloucester at Kingsholm next Saturday, so get a few players back and we should be back on track. :smt023

Re: Tigers v Bath

Ah the troll of Pulteney Bridge returns! LM...backside....O. Take it on the chin mate. Have a Remy. We've both been able to play the "That was not our best side game" from time to time. That was Bath Rugby that got beaten today, whoever pulled on the shirt. Hard luck old chap. Didn't know...

Re: Tigers v Bath

Empty victory for Leicester really. Bath missing; Joseph, Clark, Faletau, Denton, Charteris, Cook, Mercer, Priestland , Auterac, Louw etc. Yet another fortunate "off the hook" result for Cockerill and co. :smt015 You can only play what is put in front o you and irrespective of the team pu...

Re: Tigers v Bath

Let's face it. Today was a "Cup Final" for Leicester and they responded well to recent criticism, but Bath were playing with probably half of their first choice line up. Academy lock packing down at 7, academy loose head and scrum half on the bench etc. Hopefully when we meet at HQ we'll b...

Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings part 2.

Arscott has been out with an injury for about 3 months.

Even if Tom Homer signs Bath are still likely to be missing Watson, and Agulla during the WC.

I wouldn't write off Arscott just yet.

Re: 2014/15 Rumours/Contracts/Signings part 2.

Blimey, thats great news, Bath are offloading their has beens, our backline next year will have Agulla, Woodburn, Devoto and Banahan to go with all the other bargain basement buys... ????!!!!!! Woodburn's off to Ex isn't he? I expect Devoto to go, Agulla as well (but not to us, alas). Arscott is co...

Re: Team V Ulster

Just shows the limitations of playing to a limited gameplan on a boggy, narrow pitch.
When you actually need to play a more expansive game on a grown ups pitch, you struggle.

Game over.

Re: Floody

Just the truth unfortunately.

Floods only positive contribution was to get his arm under the ball to deny a Watson try.

Otherwise he was as average as ever.

Re: Floody

Banahan's was very lucky, but at least it was a tackle.

Flood deliberately drove his shoulder into Anthony Watson's head despite him being flat on the floor and in touch.

Petulance from an average player who found himself being schooled by the opposition.

Re: Floody

Flood showed his class with a sneaky shoulder into a prostrate players head today.

You can take the player out of Leicester....etc etc.....

Re: Teams Up v Bath

I feel fitting in Mr Burgess is costing Bath a natural fluidity they had at the beginning of a season. One star name does not make a team. For sure. The coaches, and Craig(I guess?) seem desperate to shoehorn SB into a team that was performing perfectly well without him. Not his fault, but he isn't...

Re: Teams Up v Bath

Honestly, that's as poor as I've seen Bath play this season. Partly down to Leicester's physicality and :censored: minded will to win, but we didn't seem to be at the races today.

Basically, the visitors wanted to win, but the home team were desperate to win that was the real big difference.

Re: Teams Up v Bath

Some classic whinging on the Barf forum, complaining about the referee etc. a couple of observations. There is more than one way to win a rugby game, Bath need to learn that. If it doesn't go their way they just sulk about it. The problem with the referee was that he didn't show a card to Bath in t...
