Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

As regards smaller shareholders not being consulted this is simply an announcement to confirm we are open to offers. Should an offer be received and be deemed acceptable by the board it will be put to a vote of all shareholders. Being as Tom Scott and Peter Tom control over 50% and presuming our con...

Re: Tigers' decline

Our demise can be traced back to 2nd January 2017, the day we sacked Cockers. He had done enough as player and DOR to have earned the right to be judged at the end of the season, but in a most un-Tigers like way he was sacked. Then we had Aaron Mauger and he was shafted to bring in O'Connor, who did...

Re: Stewards: where are they when you need them?

Wards, contact Andrea Sillman who is in charge of stewarding. I had a problem a couple of seasons ago and she contacted me to get things resolved. I do think stewarding has gone downhill recently though.

Re: The next New Head Coach / DOR?

Surprised no-one is talking about Dai Young. Done a brilliant job at Wasps and they seriously need cash, so how much to buy him out? He hasn't won anything with all those talented players. Why would he win things with ours? Dai Young was one game from winning the Premiership season before last. Tha...

Re: Exeter team

I don't think they looked fit today. Too many very out of breath at the end of the first half, especially amongst the forwards. Compare and contrast to Exeter who looked very energetic.

Is there really any debate? Our best backline is B Youngs, G Ford, May, Toomua, Tuilagi, Thompstone, Veaniu

Re: New Forwards Coach - Mark Bakewell

Simon Cohen said at the beginning of the forum on Tuesday that back when he was an agent and represented Steve Borthwick, Steve had said that Mark Bakewell was the best forwards coach he had ever worked with and I presume he knows a thing or two about such matters.

Re: Tigers v Quins

It was interesting that Matt O'Connor referred to small margins being the difference in games at the moment and referenced the Mulipola sin-binning at Glaws. Tom Youngs was also adamant that they could and would win against Quins and even that the playoffs were still a possibility (but I'm not sure ...

Re: Fans forum 13th Feb

Dom Barrow has a neck injury which is causing him balance issues. He is back in training, but won't play this weekend. Think they said they were targeting the Wasps game for him.

Fans forum 13th Feb

Just received an E mail confirming my place, but the agenda for the evening appears to only have the coaches taking questions. Have sent the club an E mail to say I think both Simon Cohen and Peter Tom should be available to respond to supporters concerns. Anyone else find the lack of Board represen...

Haskell leaving Wasps

Now I'd really like to see him in our back row even if only for a couple of seasons, but can't imagine he comes cheap.
