Re: Olympic women's 7s

Back on topic with the ladies 7s.... I thought the GB team were very poor in the first game but had improved to get through what was a fairly easy group. When the pressure came on in the knockout phase, they were fairly poor in execution of the basics - as already posted, one bad pass by Maclean and...

Re: Niall Morris rejoins Leinster

Sure hope he stays injury free and is able to get a good run of games.

Always liked him as a player - gave 100% to the Tigers cause.

Good luck Niall :smt023

Re: Unchanged Team vs Racing

The message we are seeing is that Slater isn't at this time seen as part of our best XV. Cockers was quoted yesterday as saying Barrow has been arguably our best lock this season & IMO it's hard to disagree with him. With Fitzgerald playing brilliantly at 6, that leaves Kitch & Slats to tak...

I think we have at least three : Manu , Fonua and Mulipola. We just haven't seen much of any of them yet due to injury.

Re: England Squad - OTY Dropped !!!!!

Lest we forget, (the) other hooker selected by Eddie, Luke Cowan Dickie, this for me is a much better query than the selection of Dylan Hartley. Hartley has proven international experience and is suggested as a possible captain, therefore was always liely to make the squad. George has looked good t...

Re: Teams up v Saints

Brilliant game for the neutral, but how the heck did we not get 4 tries and win comfortably? For me, Freddie made a couple of errors that Owen just does not have in his game - and those errors cost us 10 points and nearly the match. McCaffery was brilliant (as he has been all season) and I - along w...

Re: Team for Sarries

That is a fantastic bench :smt023

Not sure about back 3 with sarries kick first style of play... Tait and Thompstone much better under the high ball than TV and VG, imo

Still a good first xv and looking forward to the match...

Re: Dan Bowden.

Dan Bowden is an excellent acquisition for barf (what salary cap? :smt001 ) Not sure how much game time he will see though - Eastmond at 12 plus Devoto, and Priestland cannot get any time at 10 even from the bench.... I cant see wales calling up priestland, so bench spot during the 6N at best for Da...

Should be a quality signing for us - for however long he stays.

If it's just until our long term marquee 12 arrives, then I'll take it, thanks :smt023

Re: Sam Burgess - returning to Australia?

If Bath replace him with Picamoles / Faletau then they will have traded up IMO.

Don't see that this has any effect on Lancaster either - his international career was always going to be a short marriage of convenience :smt009
